Jesus Camp

This is very important documentary that alerts the world to what is going in the United States as a result of Bush's co-called crusade and the rise of the conservative Christian Zionists not to mention making of the Islam as the enemy of the States

This documentary deserved to be in the Oscar and I think it deserved to take the Oscar this year instead of Gore's Global warming documentary simply because this documentary actually made a difference , there is nothing happening in the Global Warming , in fact we are heading to the worst , while on the other because of this documentary people began to talk in America about these camps that they were closed now after many criticism .

It is very disturbing , it is like the racist militias in America but this time it is for children , it is not about teaching them the bible or the love of Jesus or begin good Christians ,it is more than that

I mean watching those kids reactions crying and how they look to the others who don't share them the same believes scares me

Watch it first

I want to say something ,it is about the lady pastor who appears in the documentary and talks about the Islam and the Palestinian kids

I am sorry my lady but you are speaking as if the Palestinians are enjoying sending their kids to death , first of all as far as I know those kids appear only in parades but they are actually not from the militias or turned to be militias except when they are old enough

second there is great difference between the militias and the Throw stones children who amazed the whole world with courage like Poet Nazir Qabbani once described , those kids stand against the IDF because they want to have a normal life like other kids

By the way one of the religious men who appear in the documentary turned to be a gay and there was a big trial for him

  3. I loved "Jesus Camp". These people are a bunch of nuts, who are a danger to society. The kid with the rat-tail annoyed me immensely and his fawning over Ted Haggard, the closet gay preacher who uses meth, and who used to talk to the White House every week, "in a call of faith."

  4. oh yes that kid annoyed me so much , and I love that rat tail you know because I could not classify it were a bony tail or not
this documentary really is very important
this is what the Bush administration and the Necon want , radicals for all side , seriously in the past 5 years the whole world began to see extremists from all parties , from all religions and that's his greatest achievement ever

  5. wow, sorry for the very long comment, actually i would like to hear what you think about my view of the whole issue :D if you like that is
    here

hey am glad more people are watching and hearing about this (talked about it a while back me self)
I think you flipped things the wrong way, the evangelists are the base and they have been there for a while. the neocons didn't create them...
more likely that fear drove quite a few into fanatical religion.
i don't know if love or liked is a good word for this film, but i watched it twice. what really made me sick is that comment by ted haggard regarding the elections, and since the participation among the citizens in the states is so low that a well organized group like them can push for their candidate (usually a dumb religious republican).
i think this didn't effect them much, if you noticed they are a closed community that revolves around the church. So even media attempts like that won't effect or educate them, I don't really blame the mullet(rat-tail) kid since it is just that he doesn't know any better. It is his parents fault for putting them in this direction.

  6. a wonderful post really and I want to add something , did you see the part where the rat tail boy said that he said in the age of 5 !!
I am sorry what a 5 years kid understands in religion exactly and from what he would be saved !!??

  7. I want to add another thing No-angel,yes these groups were there before G.W BUsh but they gained more power since his crusade of the 9/11 war on terrorism , now they are speaking evil and devil mostly about us and that Americans wouldn't have 9/11 if they had not follow the devil and had their sinful way of life ,Bush gave them more fuel and you said it yourself that these guys actually form a power in the elections
by the way is it me ?? or there is no latino or black children there in the camp ??

  8. Hey thanks for liking it :D as for the saved at 5 yrs old i don't think it is much different than at 50 since all u need is to believe, but i get what your saying. well they have been penetrating the american institutions for a while now, so am not sure who influenced who.
as for the kids of minorities actually you can see in the movie a few indian, latino and african. actually quite a few of the attendants in ted haggards church are immigrants and illegal ones even. your conclusion is not that far off since the bible belt(midwest)doesn't have that much diversity so there are just less minorities there

  9. ah Mid west , I forgot about the geographical factor here , you know it is just the radical Black churches in the south , who are saying Jesus is black !!
hopefully this time the elections in America will see some change,I feel that somehow there are Americans now are the terrible losses in Iraq began to be more flexible some how
