Ezzaba International

I do not think that I have spoken about the Ezaba yet in the blog ,I Gamal Bey spoke about it before in my Arabic blog anyhow it is never too late especially with the announcement of the Ezaba "The Ranch" that its owner the mayor Gamal Bey wants it it to enter the international community as a modern Ezaba

The Ezaba is a virtual one that portrays sarcastically and smartly the real Ezaba situation , what is the real Ezaba ?? well guess by yourself

Why is there Ezaba ??

Well because when someone acts like he owns the place while he is not Egyptians ask him

"is it the "Ezaba" ranch that your daddy left it you ??"

Which means is it your freaking inheritance so you can do in it what ever you want !!

By the way I forgot to introduce you the members of Ezaba

1-Gamal Bey ,the new mayor of the ranch , he inherited the ranch from his late father "may God bless his soul" , he is the man in the picture above who looks like Louis de Funès

2-The haj "Abu Gamal" who passed awaykhadra

3-Khadra ,the first lady of the ranch and her nickname is Rudy "her  name means the Green one, a popular name for girls in the countryside , there was a famous country singer called Khadra Mohamed Khadr"

4-Of course there are other many names that work in the mayor office and in the ranch

  1. Definetly, Gamal Moubarak is more competent and more intelligent than the MBs

Sorry to be off the topic- but please check the following link: It contains amazing information.

  3. Sorry to sound of topic like Amr. but I just read today in the western media the key elements of a platform published by the M.B to govern Egypt post Hosny.. They are;
    1)no woman president
    2)no christian president
3)Islamic religious body (like Iran) to oversee government works
Now do you think they expect to achieve the above democratically??considering percentage of women, christian and young freeminded egyptian like you(!)? If Gamal is the only alternative I think they make him look very atractive.. give him a hug.

  4. Mind venturing along the path I mentioned before regarding history of involvement of the military side of the M.B with the CIA & MI6 during the Egyptian monarch, Nasser's time and Sada's post peace treaty with Israel, don't you think they may play a role to make Gamal (or similar alternative) looks good to the 'eyes' and 'hearts'of the average Egyptians, the type the US & UK are comfortable with at the same time M.B play in the background the role of fake opposition..mmm real democracy don't you think???

  5. @Amre ,I feel sorry that you do not have a Sense of humor

@Ohiogosaimus,you do not need to tell me about I already know about their program and I know about these three drawbacks which affected already negatively on their popularity ,by the way there are members in the MB who did not approve that program , already do not forget many of them especailly from the leading figures are in jail for months now
Look Ohio ,if we are going to speak about dirty history and CIA ,MI5 involvement well I will not defend their them but I will tell no one is innocent and the Free officers movement were the children of Miles Copland in Cairo !!
BY the way I will not accept any further discussion in unrelated stuff

  6. You know you are both the best examples of how can the media of regimes play the mind of the people regardless of their background using their fear to scare them from democracy
I want to ask you one question do you understand what you are saying that you welcome Gamal Mubarak despite all his cons and those who around him who sold Egypt in auctions to Foreigners in order to aviod the MB !!??
Whether you like it or not , they are power in Egypt ,with huge popularity and the last elections proved so , deal with that fact

  7. No we won'yt accept the reality , we will change it LOL.

MBs are going to sell the country to the senile dirty Iranian cock roash Ali Khameini and the rest of the Iranian dipshits.

I don't care how much popular MBs are- many Egyptians don't know what is best for them. Thus far, what they think really don't count. What many like to call Democracy is not the right choice at the moment.

An autonmous radical cultural rennaissance that remains pure from external influences in the Arab world is the prerequisite for a system of governance where excecutives are determined by elections, which you like to call democracy. There, men Like Nasser, Sadat, Sadam Hussien are most needed

  8. Amre...were you by any chance married to an Iranian woman who treated you badly? It is about the only explanation I can come up with for your neverending comments about the Iranians.

Somehow you manage to take every topic mentioned on this blog and link it to Iranians. Very weird indeed. It sounds very personal frankly. Tell us what's the story there.

Even an intelligent individual such as yourself can't honestly be this brainwashed by CNN and friends.

  9. I believe our dear Amre is a genuine Arabic Fashist, in is inherent, has nothing to do with CNN, besides CNN is not stupidly biasd as Amre Ilusive Brain.

Amre is a real liability to this one fine blog

  10. Anonymous, you should reveal your identity when you attack someone. Because when you dont, that reveals your low origins and lack of morality. An attidude typical of Iranians. Besides, in case you haven't noticed, I am talking about Iranians when we are discussing the MBs - the link is quite obvious, I guess, except, maybe, for th ill-informed, non- Arabs and Iranians. Furthermore, as Arab people we all have a duty to expose the Iranian crimes, and murderous bloodsheds, as Iran is the main tool used by the neo-cons to implement their new plans for the middle east they are commiting against Arabs.

Finally, everting to perconal issues has revealed that you are taking the matter perconally, an attidude typical of lowlives.

About my perconal life. Well, Iranians women are good only for prostitution and one night stands!

It is disgrace to mary a woman of low ethnicity who is not clean enough, even, to be allowed to wash toilets

P.S Zeinobia- I read you previous comment on the previous post and I respect- but I reserve the right to reply to anyone who mentions my name

  11. While not agreeing with Amr’s tone and phraseology I agree with the logic behind the content of his comments. Particularly, in search for an alternative to the existing incompetent regime, Egyptian should not fall easily into some quasi-political body that sell them words and promises while lot of secret motives lie behind the façade. Nasser, talked to the lowest level Egyptian with kindness and use of hot air language, screwed Egypt’s future from the mid fifties with political ignorance, lack of planning and greed , but Egyptian people of his generation couldn’t even fathom any entity, regime to compete with him, he totally brain washed them, similar to what the M.B is doing today. For instance what do they claim their political agenda re; Israel? Do they plan to rip the peace agreement off? Or cooperate along Mubarak’s tone? If the first option is what they plan do they expect the US financial assistance to continue? Or what? Who they feel would support them other than Iran (with words of course)? If Egyptian fell into that, then history will repeat itself big time and Egypt would experience another Nasser Cancer!!. Please ask questions, debate voice your doubts to the political entity who promises you the moon, let them get real.

  12. While I agree with ohiogosaimus in most of his insightful well- informed pieces, I tend to radically differ with him regarding Nasser.

First, when you judge him, do so while trying as much as possible to rehash the inernational politcal contxts as well as Egypt's socio-politics back then.

I won't go on polishing apples for him, regardless of how much I think him worthy of it. World bank report n0 876 stated the amount of development Egypt witnessed from 1956 to 1967 was 4 times bigger than that in the 40 years that preceded 1952....

In 1967 Egyptian economic growth rate was 6% which was a miraculous one by the standards of the time. It is worth mentioning to point out that rate of economic growth in China back then was 2.5%.

Social mobility Egypt witnessed back then was unprecedented in its enire history- for this particular reason Nasser's revolution stands out as a unique incident in Egypt's history, matched only by the revolution that broke out during the reign of the 6th dynasty in the old kingdom.

When I get to assess his experience, I keep on mind that Egyptian peasants need a cultural change more than anything else.

To my opinion, one of the main reasons behind the populartity of the MBs and the relentless Islamisation of Egypt which has been taking place since the sevnties, is the death of Nasser's socilaist developmental line, which came to a halt by his death. I cant blame Sadat, however, because Egypt was traumatised with the occupation of Sinai.

  13. At the danger sounding off topic bringing comparison with potential alternative to the existing regime with Nasser’s methodology of governing I think it’s worth debating in order to highlight his mistakes and not repeat them. His lack of political experience placed him as easy ball in the hand of Russia during the cold war game. They promised him the Aswan dam in-spite of several (almost 11-12) environmental reasons (backed up by the united nations at the time) against it. He didn’t even care what might happen to Abu Semble Pharaonic temple if it wasn’t saved by generous donation from the owner of the ‘Readers Digest’. They planned to build the dam promising cheap electricity to every little home along the delta and support for industrial revolution, what they missed is a little important thing “power lines grid”. Power was generated for “years” and no use to it –This is a huge failure according to ‘economic 101’. The agriculture (and farming industry) suffered badly. Russia loaded Egypt with weapons without explaining the minimum qualification needed to use them (army draft were 90% far below high school education). He nationalized almost all privately owned industries and built petrochemical factories and placed army officers in charge (!!!) , then post the 1967 war he claimed ignorance about the lowest level of readiness of the Egyptian Army (what is the leader job exactly??). Do you think the level of international political knowledge (affecting Egypt) of the M.B is any better???

  14. @Amre ,which part you did not understand from the comment where I said you are not welcomed here anymore !!!

@Ohio what do you think of the website I posted here ??let's stick to the topic

  15. Regarding Nasser I have to admit that despite of his huge internal mistakes which can be justified in the context of protecting a new revolution, On the international arena, however, he was a master strategist because he was actually one of the first leaders in the world to fully understand the dynamics of the U.S-Soviet relations back then, and play their contradictions to extract benefits and status for Egypt .

You can't blame Russians for our mistakes concerning the army. One has to say that despite of the sever incompetence of Amer and his men, the revolution managed to build a modern, motivated well trained army- in 1967 the trained Egyptian forces about 80,000 men were all in Yemen.

Certainly, Abdel Mon3m Riyad, Sa3d el Shazly, Mohamed El-Gamasy, Hosny Moubarak all come out of the blue and lead the glorious war of attrition! and later on, planned for revenge.
Bare on mind that illitracy in Egypt before 1952 was more than 90%

The problem was only in the high command. In the begining Nasser could trust no one but Amer. Alas, Amer turned against Nasser in 1962. Untill 1967 Nasser had been locked out of the barracks. Definetly he knew how things were-though I doubt that he grasped in full proportion the dimensions of the disaster Shams Badran and Amer were funishing in the army.

Regarding environamntal concerns, well, environmentalism in a developing industralising countrry like Egypt can not be handled the same way like they do in Sweden, for example. Simply , because of the differences in the ways people define "being welfare". In Egypt, we have othger priorties and our environmental concerns must be merely focused on issues that pertain to human health..... bio diversity, animal rights, indeginous cultures are all tirvial. Keep on mind, that environment is being used as tool by neo- liberals and free market ideologues.

Now to sum up, Nasser's experience is full of mistakes and it can not be rehashed in our present contexts. However, Nasserism- the ideal is indeginous to Egypt , the Arab world and their problems. Those ideals are constant, actually they are the only guidlines which can lead us out of the tunnel. Those include, Industralisation, social justice, independence and actualising Egypt's destiny and natural de facto state as the politcal and cultural captial of the Arab world, so as to ensure our dignity and furnish the way for a rennaissance in our culture and civilsation.

By the way, Iam not a socialist by heart, Iam only interested in the functional aspect of socilaism.

As far I undertand, neo-liberalism and free market dogmas cannot industralise a semi industralised country or debvelop a third worl nation. China wento into free market after t
