It has been some time now since the last fire has broke in some public place in Egypt , I think it was our national theatre , no there were other two fires in some factories. Anyhow there have been two huge fires today in Cairo and Giza in very interesting places.
The First one was in the Giza courts complex !!! Yes and three people were injured in it. According to the news reports the fire started in the lawyers’ room. You can imagine the panic ,already I went to this complex before and it is very crowded.It seems that there is no fire alarm system in that huge building full of people and important documents !!
The second fire was in a hotel under construction owned by TMG,oh yes owned by Hisham Talaat Mustafa company. That hotel is in Garden City area behind the British Embassy and it is called “The Nile” hotel. No one is injured in it.
I do not know why huge fires in Egypt become a monthly thing !! For sure neglect and carelessness are the main reasons for such fires. I understand neglect and carelessness in the private sector but what about the public sector, after all there is money projected to the industrial security and maintenance,that money in the public sector is the money of the Egyptian tax payer , the money of the Egyptian people ,where it goes !!??
