Breaking News : The Ground invasion of Gaza has started

I think it will be another long night for the Gazans , this time it will be full of first handed action. The ground troops of the IDF started to advance in the populated city and according to early press reports despite the darkness of the nights Hamas is already fighting.
Please read this interesting report from the firedoglake.
The ground invasion was something expected.
I expect that the death toll will increase till the morning comes.

  2. I just posted in my blog too, asking people to keep the people of Gaza in their prayers tonight - they will definitely need it (they usually do though, don't they :( )

I couldn't find anything about four Israeli soldiers being killed. The English version of Reuters doesn't seem to have it? or maybe I didn't look well enough. There were some rumors here, following Barak's press conference, where he said something like "we had four people killed". He was referring to the civilian casualties from the rockets over the past week.

I know it's a futile hope, but I hope those soldiers come back safe home - the sooner the better. These are people, on both sides of this stupid war...

  4. i think it's the time to correct Sharon's big mistake and re-occupy Gaza to secure towns like Sderot from the Kassam rockets.

  5. An Egyptian,

I think it's time for the old bag to move to his retirement home: Hell. But, first he must be judged for his war crimes in the massacre of Sabra and Shatila.

I also think it's the time for the "stronger force" in Egypt to get rid of the minority and take over all Egyptian towns to secure them from betrayal of Zionist agents! How is that for a radical idea?

  6. Lets all hope this will be the undoing of this attack in Gaza and inshaAllah they will retreat and have to stop their attack and open the borders again.
