USS Liberty Déjà Vu

Many people compared the Gaza flotilla attack the famous SS Exodus and this comparison reached to the level of considering the Gaza Freedom Flotilla as the Palestinian Exodus and the IDF as the British forces. I respect this point but I consider Gaza flotilla is more similar to the USS liberty incident.

Oddly enough that there were former U.S navy officers among the flotilla including a USS liberty survivor.

USS Liberty attack is very important to Egypt and to the Egyptian POWs case too in particular as one of the reasons Americans believe that the IDF targeted its ship was the IDF's fear from the exposure of its war crimes in Al Arish , this is documented even in the congressional records.

Strangely since 2005 when the 1956 Metla pass massacres surfaced by the confusion of the Israelis themselves up till now the Egyptian regime demands evidence on the war crimes that it is front of us everywhere.

  1. Well, thanks for your concern about the USS Liberty Zeinobia! It almost makes it seem like you don't loathe the United States!

Have you ever expressed any concern over attacks on the US that Arabs have made? If so, can you show me?

  5. Zeinobia, I asked if those were from your secret videos that showed the Israelis to be brutally attacking people without any provocation. And you come back with some smartass crap about traumatized IDF hostages?

I'll take that as an admission that you know very well the IDF shot people who deserved to be shot.

This post was about the USS Liberty. Notice the initials "US" in there?

Zeinobia is trying to convince Americans that Israel is an enemy. Why would you even think Americans don't have a right to express an opinion about that?

Visit Egypt, I guarantee you've not seen more racist country before. The only place in the world when protocols are still taken seriously and watch their history curriculum B)

You know, a month ago I laughed about "fantastic" Dostor (Egyptian daily) POW report with one plaster skull in the desert. There were supposed to be "more", but there was not.

Zeinobia is a hard case, she uses Israeli technology to run a racist website against Israel, where are published texts against Israel written by Zionist Israelis themselves ... enjoy :)

  8. @ John,"Visit Egypt, I guarantee you've not seen more racist country before. The only place in the world when protocols are still taken seriously and watch their history curriculum B)"

I think you and Sudanese optimist have different definition of the word "racism". In my definition, when there is a sign on a restaurant saying "no black, colored, or dogs" that is racism.
If someone calls a woman in the street "ya samara" which means dark skin in arabic, and ordinary Egyptians say it all the time in the street. That is NOT considered racism.
Not appointing muslim arabs in positions because of their race and religion, which happens all the time in Israel, that is considered racism.
I, as an arab, have been kicked out of few places in USA because of my ethinicity. So please learn about racism before you come here and express your opinion.

  9. I as an eastern European were kicked out of few places in the USA (once from Bus and once from a restaurant) so what?

Egypt - open public propagation of Nazi texts (even on Dream TV), open expression of love to Hitler by glorified leaders (Sadat), open blaming of other nations from domestic terrorism by Egyptian ministers (Europeans, Israelis, ..), and so on

There is a reason why even other arab nations dislike Egypt.
