Happy Eastern Easter from Egyptian Chronicles to all those celebrating it.
On this occasion, I would like to share with you what I have seen recently in Cairo: The Armenian Orthodox Church with its unique style. It is officially known as "Patriarcat Armenien".
It is located in Cairo's historically and once cosmopolitan rich El-Zaher district. It took three years to build it from 1924 till 1927. It was officially inaugurated in 1928.
It was designed by architect Levon Navalian and was funded by famous Armenian Egyptian figures.
The Armenian Orthodox Church in Cairo follows the Armenian apostatic Church of Armenia.
