Here we go again : Israeli Forces Attack Al-Aqsa Mosque in Ramadan “This is how it should be reported”

It is a Deja Vu, it happened last year and despite what happened in Palestine the Israeli government has no problem doing again and again over and over.

Once again Western media failed in its coverage and we will speak about that later below.

Thursday evening, Palestinian activists reported that there were concerns among the Jerusalemite Palestinians that the Israeli forces and settlers would storm Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Early Friday morning, the Israeli forces stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque arresting over 400 Palestinians and injuring not less than 100 others in a raid that can’t be justified under any circumstance.

This is the second Friday of Ramadan and the Mosque was fully packed with Palestinians during the Friday prayers in the afternoon.

Israeli officials went online claiming that the Israeli forces did not storm or even entered the Al-Qibli Mosque in the Al-Aqsa Mosque complex, it is the Palestinians as usual.

The Palestinians in defence used their praying mats and rocks against gas grenades,
rubber ammunitions and fully armed forces "AFP"
We got photos and videos documenting the attack and the Israeli forces threw gas grenades and bullets inside the Al-Qibli mosque itself in the complex while people were praying inside.

Here is the moment on video showing the tear gas grenades breaking the colour glass of Al-Qibli Mosque.

Rubber bullets were used in the storming of the Al-Qibli Mosque.

Imagine this scene happens in a church or a synagogue or a temple with the same importance as the Al-Aqsa mosque and the reaction and anger it may result in.

Arresting people from inside the Mosque in a humiliating way.

Here is a video showing the armed forces of Israel which claim to be an oasis of freedom of the press attacking reporters and journalists.

I think this footage came from this fellow journalist.

Another attack on a woman journalist because Arabs are the only people uncivilized enough to attack women !!

Here is Israel’s finest attacking an elderly Palestinian man and I do not know what to say for real !!

I do not have a comment but this is a man whose bones can be seen from his chain !! I do not know what to say !!

Palestinian activists were right in their concern Al-Aqsa would be stormed because for the past couple of days, Israeli Jewish settlers stormed the third holiest place for Muslims in Ramadan under the protection of Israeli police shortly.

Extremist Jewish groups like “The Return to the Mount” already claimed that they would storm Al-Aqsa Mosque or as they called it “The temple mount” to present animal sacrifices on the occasion of the Jewish Passover.

Two days ago, the Israeli authorities arrested 6 extremist Jews for planning animal sacrifice at Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Israeli reporter Barak Ravid said on Friday that the Israeli government or may it is “Lapid” sent messages to Hamas through four mediators including Egypt and Qatar that it would not allow the Jewish extremists to hold their sacrifice rituals

That arrest may give you the impression that the Israeli government may avoid escalation and learned its lessons at last but you are wrong.

What happened on Friday proves this and that’s why Palestinians stayed and slept at the Mosque to protect it. That’s why you found the Palestinians with their masks and rocks were ready. Already in the previous 24 hours, they were not keeping it secret that they hurried to the mosque after hearing the news that it would be stormed by the settlers.

By the way, according to Christian Palestinian activists, the Israeli occupation forces informed the Holy Church of Sepulchre to limit the attendance on the Holy Saturday to 500 people only barring any gatherings for Palestinian Christians in the old Jerusalem and the Churches Complex in the city rejected this order.

Needless to say, Christian Palestinians are fed up that the international media limit the conflict in Jerusalem between the Israeli settlers and government and Muslim Palestinians and not between Israeli settlers and government and Muslims as well as Christian Palestinians.

Currently, some news outlets report that the Egyptian government is doing its best to keep the truce that was reached between the Palestinian factions and the Israeli government last Ramadan intact after the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque and attack on the Palestinians earlier.

I buy this very much.

Now Many Arabs are wondering why Palestine does not take the same attention or solidarity as Ukraine, especially in the mainstream media. I do not like this comparison but it is a valid question because we are dealing with an occupied territory since 1967 and a rogue state that got a very long record of ignoring Security Council resolutions.

East Jerusalem has been occupied since 1967 by Israel and its army, it is a fact that can’t be changed or erased according to the International laws.

Also, it is not a clash. What happened on Friday was not a clash. Clashes are fights that are equal in power, not a fully armed power attacking people including the elderly, children and women in a religious holy place with nothing in their hands except chairs and rocks !!

That was an attack, an attack by the Israeli Occupation Forces.

Enough of those provoking attacks if you are really in so-called coexistence and peace
