On Mother’s Day : When will the US apologize to the Iraqi mothers !?

Today is Mother’s Day in the Arab world. Thanks to the Amin brothers of Egypt, the Arab world celebrates it on 21 March annually with the start of Spring.

Happy Mother’s Day to the mothers, aunts, and grandmothers all over the world especially in our sad part of the world aka the Middle East.

It is not easy to be a mother and actually, it can be hard too especially in the Arab World.

It is also the 20^th anniversary of the United States-led invasion of Iraq. It is not commemorated in any way in the Arab World and the West deals with it like any other colonial war crime that it does not want to speak about it now.

The East aka Russia and China are using it to attack the United States and the West.

Now the only thing on my mind this Mother’s Day is when will the United States and its officials above them G.W. Bush and the rest of the cronies apologize for the Iraqi mothers!?

Yes, the Iraqi mothers who lost their children for an invasion that was built upon lies.

According to Iraq Body Count, between 2003 and 2011, U.S. coalition forces killed at least 1,201 children in Iraq alone.

The Iraqi mothers had to struggle with injured kids in the time of the horrifying invasion that was the end of a decayed corrupted dictatorship as well as an end of Iraq as a unified country.

The Iraqi mothers who to this day give birth to deformed babies that do not usually survive in Fallujah and other areas of Iraq since the invasion because of whatever hellish weapons experimented in Iraq by the US.

I do not even need to remind you that half a million babies died due to sanctions already before the invasion.

The hell with Saddam Hussein and his regime thousands of times but I can’t believe the hypocrisy of this world that does not even show some sympathy to the Iraqi people after all those years and recognizes its bloody responsibility for what happened in Iraq.

I am sick of the Western media speaking about the rights of Arab and Iraqi women when they do not really care for the suffering the Iraqi women endured during that invasion.

20 years passed and all that I found in the media is how the US soldiers suffering from PTSD but nothing about the millions of Iraqis especially Iraqi mothers.

I am angry and so I will end this post by wishing all happiness and solace to all the mothers in Iraq.
