Ramadan Arabian Nights 2023: Tale of Mando “Mando, the horse whisperer” #EP10

Ramadan Karim 😀

We continue our tale for this year, the tale of Mando.

Before that the usual chitchat.

Anyhow, let’s go to our episode tonight but first, refresh your mind with last night’s episode.

Now to the tenth episode of our tale or the 472nd episode in Egyptian state radio’s One Thousand and One Nights show.

The synopsis in English

Mando grew up to become a fine and admirable lad.

Though his father was a mere garbage collector, Mando possessed a beauty and grace that did not befit his humble origins.

His love for horses was matched only by his kindness and care towards them. One fateful day, he snuck into the stable his father was to clean, and there he made a bond with the horses that would last a lifetime.

This young boy, a true horse whisperer, spoke to the majestic beasts as though they were his own friends, and they listened to him with the greatest of respect.

A young stable boy as imagined by Midjourney AI

One day, the owner of the stable wished to assert his dominance over the horses, but he could not control them.

That was when Mando arrived, and with his gentle touch and soothing words, he tamed the wild animals with ease. The owner was so impressed that he hired Mando as a stable boy, for three riyals each month.

Mando's parents, Tanbal and Zumara, were overjoyed at the news.

They did not let Mando know that he was not their biological son, for they had taken him in as their own when he was but a baby.

One day, Mando returned home from work with a deer, which he had hunted himself.

He regaled his parents with tales of his hunting expedition, and how he had come across a beautiful and kind girl named Wardshan, who was accompanied by a silly boy named Arman.

And so, dear friend, we must wait until tomorrow inshallah to see how the two halves of one apple, Mando and Wardshan, will meet despite the plots and conspiracies that may arise.

Here is the episode televised

Till tomorrow night inshallah.
