El Cid Vs. Pharaohs

Hassan Nasrallah addressed the Arab people regarding the arrest of Hezbollah cell in Egypt from couple of days ago tonight. Here is a brief summary from Al Manar channel in Lebanon in English. In case if it is blocked in your country ,here are the most important points :

1- Lebanese Sami Shahab is a Hezbollah member and he was in Egypt in order to provide logistic support to the Palestinian resistance only.

2- Hezbollah did not plan to destabilize the Egyptian security.

3- Hezbollah has no intention to attack any Arab country or any Arabic regime.

4- Hezbollah’s missions are to liberate the land ,protect Lebanon and to help people against Israel.

5- This move from the Egyptian regime is to defame Hezbollah in front of the Egyptian Public and also to present new credentials to the new American administration and to the Israelis.

6-The Egyptian regime is trying to cover its fiascos in the region !!

7- Those men who were arrested are not among Sami’s group.

8- The Egyptian regime is the one that criminal by its siege to Gaza strip and its decision to destroy the tunnels.

These are the main points of what he said. There are some important remarks you should know in advance :

  • Some of the detainees in that so-called cell were arrested before the Gaza war and Ashura . “According to the Egyptian investigation Nasrallah speech in last Ashura was the signal to launch those attacks “
  • Up till the Lebanese Ambassador nor the Lebanese officials have commented on this dangerous allegation as if that Lebanese detainee “Sami Shahab” is not a Lebanese, already I understand the critical position of the Lebanese state in this situation.
  • There are parliamentary elections currently in Lebanon and it is believed that the Egyptian timing regarding this cell is to affect the Lebanese elections , of course I do not see any effect what so ever , whoever believes this theory does not know that the Egyptian role in Lebanon is not as before.

Now this is what I think :

  • First of I like Hassan Nasrallah and I support Hezbollah. This is something well known in my blog.
  • I do not know what Hezbollah was thinking to provide the Palestinian resistance with logistic from the Egyptian borders and it is well known that the Egyptian regime can’t stomach Hezbollah and it made it clear that it would not tolerate any weapons smuggling !!!
  • This is an illegal act against the sovereignty of the country if we are speaking legal wise.
  • Nasrallah has crossed the line and he has to know it is hard for a group even in the size of Hezbollah to mess with a regime in the size of the Egyptian regime even if it is Mubarak’s regime.
  • Of course Nasrallah depends on the Arabic public opinion and the fact that the Egyptian regime popularity now is in lowest status ever but he should depend on this only.
  • El Cid should know that he made a mistake really even if he does not recognize it of course he does not because in his point of view he did not anything wrong , well he did I am saying again.
  • Of course the Egyptian regime should not go on its fantasies of that cell plotting against our national security and keep it in its size “Smuggling arms defying military orders , already I know that from Magdy Hussein case
  • The Egyptian regime must know that it should not depend on the Iranian/Shiite phobia in Gulf to win sympathy because the Arab people do not like us anymore , we do not have creditability as long as we are closing the crossings in this way .

This is no win situation for all parties I believe.

I will never want them to win or rule or free Palestine, cause it will be another reliegion ruled country like Saudi Arabia or Iran.

  9. Sayed Hasan is a brave and honrable man who has done nothing wrong. He is hated by traitors regeims like the one in Egypt and Saudia Arabia simply because he is brave to expose them or makes them feel very unsecure about their pro American pro Israeli leadership.

  10. I am a Sunni and an Egyptian and I am not foolish enough to believe any of the govt propaganda against Hezbollah. Of course Hezbollah smuggling weapons through country is a issue and I can understand concerns over it, but my God, what do they expect? The ruling regime sat back and watched Palestinians in Gaza get slaughtered without any logistical support or even allowing the Rafah crossing to be opened.

It is every and any Muslims duty to help their brothers in need, and Hezbollah is a well-known ally of Hamas, so there's no doubt in my mind that they were actually trying to support Gaza as opposed to "destabilizing" Egypt. When has Hezbollah ever tried to "destabilize" a country? Never.

And this talk about Sunni/Shia needs to go away. This sectarian rhetoric is dangerous and will only cause more fitnah and problems in the Middle East

There is no way to have logic discussion about this subject(s) because there is no Angels/Devils here, and everyone seems too polarized to one side or another

1/ (Gazza Appeasement Campaign)/ AKA (Israel War on Gazza), first it is the right of Egypt as sovereign state to monitor, limit the access or shut the borders with any of its neighbor (corpus: whether another state or sub-state territory) the way it finds it best serve its national interest
Additionally, egypt is not commited to the safety or welfare of any of its neighbours (including Palestinians) beyond the limit that guarantees the egyptian interests [[and there is no Lebanese Faction to give us a morality lesson in this subject, because even the Hezb does not welcome giving the palestos in Lebanon the right to acquire properties or practice any (technical) profession]]

2/ The Hezb action [[regardles its size, purpose or nature]] on Egyptian sovereign territories is not welcomed by the egyptian leadership, accordingly it is not only illegal but a frank act of agression [[regardless credibility issues]]
The Hezb may be the de-facto state-in-state at south & east lebanon but not beyond that, ((i don't need to mention how they been badly fucked last year just like nowadays when they tried to fool with Druz territories)), and at least we still have balls equal to Druz balls !!!

3/ The Comissioner of the Hezb mentioned in the speech that the Hezb does not target Egypt security of regime, as much as my memory helps me, the same man asked for (Street Uprising) to open the crossings with gazza during the latest major Israel action against gazza, wonder
    - what is the definition of (destabilizing) acts in the concepts of the Hezb?
    - why the Hezb is unwilling to expose his (citizens) in the territories under his control in Lebanon to danger of Israel retaliation for the sake of supporting the (palestinian Case), but acts (freely & indifferently) to the egyptian interest in Egypt's sovereign territory of Sinai?

4/ [[Some of the detainees in that so-called cell were arrested before the Gaza war and Ashura . “According to the Egyptian investigation Nasrallah speech in last Ashura was the signal to launch those attacks “ ]]

Egyptian Security service have the right to move against sources of threat the tame it finds appropriate
Personally i will prefer to keep that cell working for longer time just to have larger catch later-imagine the fiasco if one of the hezb officials or iran secret service been arrested in sinai!! XD XD :)

    5/ Lebanon parliamentary Elections:-
After the latest incidence in egypt, i think the egyptian regime has moral excuse to work against the hezb in lebanon (they start that!!!)

    6/ The Egyptian Regime Fantasies:-
True, we should not over emphasize that, for 9 years all kind of cash, weapon, durgs & goods are smuggled to & from gazza as long as the interior ministry in egypt are well paid from the process !!

    7/ Zeinobia likes ElCid:-
    it is your personal taste....
i have no intention to dance on (i hate israel) tone
by the way Zeze, did u obey ElCid call for street Uprising last december? XD XD :-))

  12. @anonymous Sunni, who said that Hezbollah is going to liberate and rule Palestine or Gaza !!??

@anonymous, El-Sid Hassan did a mistake with his good intentions,it is not a small thing to attack the sovereignty of the country like this.

@Sultan 1923, this is what scares , the talk Shiite-Sunni talk , it is terrible

    @Aardvark
    1) The war in Gaza and shutting down the crossings were not in the Egyptian interest and please do not tell me that this regime knows our best interest with its dictatorship and corruption

2)excuse as far as I know last year they won over Jonbult and his supporters

3)Well whom the Egyptian regime is going to support ,our old enemies in Lebanon !!?? the real civil war princes !!?? No ,we do not have the right ,nothing had happened , the day is saved , already we can't do anything in Lebanon as you imagine.

    4) I think I am not the only person to like Nasrallah in Egypt ,check my posts last December concerning his call
