Sinai Saga Goes On : Assassination Attempts , Interviews and Press Conferences

In the past 4 days there was a lot of a drama in Sinai , it is actually another episode in the Sinai saga starring the regime’s stupidity. Nobody understands exactly what the regime wants to achieve from these policies which according to all experts and to the locals of Sinai is against of national security.
First we got a very interesting confession of 18 years old boy that the state security and local NDP parliament member  in North Sinai blackmailed in to poisoning Salem Abu Laavi and Moussa El-Dalh “the spokesperson of the Sinai runaways group” .
The underage driver was promised to get LE 30,000 and his father’s release from jail in return. His father had been sentenced 25 years in jail. Thank God the attempt has failed because nobody imagine how the reaction of the locals will be if Abu Laavi and El-Dalth were poisoned.
In a video confession to Dostor daily , the boy confessed and revealed this dirty deal.
Confessions of Underage hitman
Of course the state security and the regime denies any relation with what this boy says.
This was a sad shocking episode in the Sinai saga for sure but is not sadder or more shocking than the coming episode : The N.Sinai governor interview in Al Shorouk.
North Sinai governor had an interview published on two parts in Al Shorouk daily and each part is worse than the other. The governor is Muard Mwafi , a 1973 war veteran and the former head of military intelligence. I remember there was a hope that things would get better after appointing him because the locals prefer to deal with the intelligence than what are these statements full of hate , disrespect and racism !!??
  1. Mwafi to Al Shorouk : Some of the Bedouins work for Israel then later it hits them with the shoes !!??
  2. Mourad Mwafi : Israel will not be soft on Egypt nor on the Bedouins
The governor denies the police practices of taking the families as hostages then accusing the Bedouins of being greedy who want to work in smuggling as it is more profitable than in working for LE 700 per month in an oil company then he claims dangerously that some Bedouins are working for Israel. “he meant the Bedouins who want their citizenship rights back !! you know the treason mindset in the valley !!”
These statements would come from a police general not a MI general as far as I understand but may be I am wrong. I do not understand why to publish such provoking statement after the release of the Sinai detainees !!?
Now the tribes are furious from the governor’s interview and they have to , they are holding currently a press conference to fire back on what came in the interview from accusations and rudeness but one must wonder if this press conference will be covered by the mainstream media in Egypt because according to the news coming from Sinai TV channels are not allowed to get Al Arish in the first place to cover the conference.
It is long saga which I hope to end in a good peaceful way for the sake of Egypt

  1. @Z, your links 1 and 2 are the same. You probably wanted something different for the second.

  2. Maj. Gen. Murad Mowafy, Governor of North Sinai, is foul-mouthed if Google Translate is to be trusted:

هذا معناه أنه إذا أكرمت الكريم تنعم، وإذا أكرمت اللئيم تمرد، فالكريم يفسر إحسان الدولة إليه على أنه جميل يجب أن يحفظه، ولكن الملاعين يفسرون هذا على أنهم ضغطوا على الدولة ونجحوا فى تحقيق اهدافهم ويستمرون فى إجرامهم فهؤلاء ملاعين وليسوا كرماء.

This means that if humanity may come to the Holy enjoy, and if humanity may come to the wicked rebellion, Valkarim explains the charity of the State as a Creative Commons must be memorized, but fucks interpret this as they put pressure on the state and succeeded in achieving their goals and continue in the criminals They are cursed, but not generous.

  3. Probably Zeinobia doesn't want to post bad language on Egyptian Chronicles, even if it's direct quotes, so let me put this delicately. If you follow the link she gave (Arabic or English) and go down to this interview question:

يعودون مرة أخرى للإجرام لأنه فى ذهنهم أن الإفراج عنهم تم بلى ذراع الدولة؟

Returning once again to the crime because in their mind that the release was arm-twisted the state?

you will see this response, which I have cleaned up:

هذا معناه أنه إذا أكرمت الكريم تنعم، وإذا أكرمت اللئيم تمرد، فالكريم يفسر إحسان الدولة إليه على أنه جميل يجب أن يحفظه، ولكن [CENSORED] يفسرون هذا على أنهم ضغطوا على الدولة ونجحوا فى تحقيق اهدافهم ويستمرون فى إجرامهم فهؤلاء ملاعين وليسوا كرماء.

This means that if humanity may come to the Holy enjoy, and if humanity may come to the wicked rebellion, Valkarim explains the charity of the State as a Creative Commons must be memorized, but [CENSORED] interpret this as they put pressure on the state and succeeded in achieving their goals and continue in the criminals They are cursed, but not generous.

If the translation is correct, Maj. Gen. Murad Mowafy, Governor of North Sinai, has rather a foul mouth.

@Zeinobia, please just throw away the explicit version I posted if you haven't already. Thanks!

  4. @Jason , thanks for the correct and translation , I did not want to post it because it was too much , ironically yesterday the NDP claimed that he did not say such things but then retired as Al shorouk is not yellow paper then the newspaper itself published an explanatory additional interview to justify what he had said !
