The Free Egypt Movement

Ok Some fellow blogger and activist found this site and as some one who believe in democracy and freedom of expression ,I respect it and thus I respect any other opposite opinion , even if it reached to the extreme

This is a site called "Free Egypt " and it is pro-Mubarak regime , those who made it believe that President Hosni Mubarak and his regime are the best for the country that is called Egypt

Link to حركة مصر الحرة - متعاونون | خالد الغزالى

ok the Internet is a free zone , but they shouldn't accuse those who don't like Mubarak to be puppets and traitors

  1. With too much free time in my hands these days, I'm "proofreading" some old books in my library, the one I'm reading right now is "El-walad el sahqi fel manfa"-"الولد الشقي في المنفى" by Mahmoud el sa3dani. Anyways, one of the persistent themes in the book is how if somebody criticizes the government how the government media mobilizes to destroy this persons reputation, sho3'l sa3ayda ya3ni with all do respect to sa3ayda cause I'm one myself...

This tone may have come down recently but it still exists, instead of criticizing the opposition's program or ideas they're attacking them and their representative figures personally, which to me at least, a sign of weakness.

  2. lol, Did anybody read what husni is saying on that website? "nefsy asebha", tab matsebha ya5ooya...

and then talking about how hard it is to leave his position? Well, I think its more difficult to do when you're the president of the strongest nation on earth, but still in the states he has to abide by the constitution, remember that strange book that nobody respects no more?

Aal nefso yesebha aal, asl masr mabet5allefsh ya3alam, mafhash reggala ya3ni, lamo2a5za...

  4. So where is this going to leave us anyways? Do you think that there's going to be an end to the oppression of the system? I think that we're just here saying what we want ya3ni "fashet 5el2" like lebanese like to say, but to tell you the truth, as much as I like to be optimistic about everything I'm pessimistic when it comes to the future of Egypt.

What I want to say is, while I was reading that book and saw how a lot of people fought for their freedom too and where thrown out of their jobs and sent to detention and mo3taqalat and tortured, and what did they achieve?

The system will always win? Is this the case in Egypt now?
By the way, regarding that the website is closed -this is a reply to your comment on my blog :)- I think I forgot to say that I'm currently in Saudi Arabia, I'm coming back to Egypt permenantly though in a week or so, and I know it my sound cliche but one of the main reasons is that I want to do something!
