Is this a joke ?

I woke up today to find all national newspapers speaking about this glorious achievement of Mubarak which proves how great he is.

Based on a survey made by the world public opinion which follows the university of Maryland Mubarak ,the president of Egypt ; our president is most trusted President in the world and that 94% of the Egyptian people trusted him !!??

First of all I know that our national newspapers changed facts without going to the website , because it is unscientifically and incorrectly to say 94% of the Egyptian people trusted Mubarak ,as the survey is not based upon all the Egyptian population but it is based upon "hopefully" representative sample , so it is logically to say that 94% of the sample trusted him.

Still I highly doubt it ,seriously it is a joke.

Already this strange surprising result came in the a worldwide survey made by the center about the leaders of the world .

Its conclusion is that there is a Global Leadership vacuum ; the people of the world do not trust the leaders of the world above them Bush .

Egypt is among 23 countries in this survey. It is among the middle East countries in the region.

The Egyptians trusted more Sarkozy,Prevez Mashraff "!!??", Mahmoud Ahamdinajd ,Gordan Brown , Vladimir Putin and the Chinese President Hi Junto more than G.W Bush and Ban Ki Moon - the secretary general of UN

I am not surprised from our people's trust in Sarkozy or Ahamdinajd or Putin or Junto but I am surprised from Mashraff and Gordan.

The trust as I am Egyptian and I know how my people think is based about how independent this country or this leader from the United states , Putin and Junto represent Russia and China , the opposite old and future world powers against the U.S , Ahamdinajd is standing against the U.S while Sarkozy despite how close he is to the U.S put the French interest above all.Where as the UN lost all its powers and UK is a follower to the American policy.

The national newspapers forget to say that Mubarak is not considered a global leader , I mean all those names I mention are consider global leaders , yes Ahmadinajd is considered global leader where as Mubarak is a regional leader from the Middle East , shocking is not it ??

The research firm that conducted the survey in Egypt is Attitude Market Research, I can't find anything about.

The questions were about :

  • The Egyptians' Opinions on the Global leaders
  • The Egyptians' Opinions on the regional leaders
It came as follows ,Click on it please

gview

Here I want to add something , about the surveys in Egypt and this is based from Political researches in Egypt in Cairo University , if you want to conduct a political or social survey or questionnaire ,you must take the approval and the authorization of the security before starting in your project. They must revise the questions and after finishing the questionnaire , they must revise both the answers and the results and for Egyptian researchers , they may change the percentages of the results.

I mean both Nasser and Sadat were considered global leaders and at their times !!??

Anyhow there is something that stopped me in this survey

Did you notice that they consider Hassan Nasrallah as regional leader , impressive is not it !!??

Anyhow again as an Egyptian I tell you that I do not truth Mubarak that much because experience showed that he is not that honest

I mean in 1981 he said that he would stay only for two presidential periods which equal to 12 years and then he would leave and say bye bye, now he has been staying  for 27 years !!??

How can we trust him ??

By the way all the people I asked today about this laughed at and did not buy it !!

  2. It is pity to see all those journalists kissing the president's butt by focusing on this unscientific study and ignoring the original article which contradicts it. Look at the following paragraph from the same newsweek article;

"The general malaise becomes especially clear if you look at our national "crankiness index"—which shows how each country responded to all the leaders as a group. All but two of the nations were relentlessly critical. Americans were extremely negative, giving the seven leaders in the survey an average confidence rating of just 29 percent, and their own leader 42 percent. That's probably a reflection of the slumping economy and the burden at home of two wars, plus an ongoing terrorist threat and high anti-Americanism abroad. Overall, the crankiest responses came from the Arabs—the Palestinians, Jordanians and Egyptians—all of whom live in moribund economies with corrupt, ineffective governments that tend to blame their condition on outsiders".

So the article frankly called the govenment and the regime in Egypt as ineffective and corrupt.
It is also funny to see a democraticlly elected leader like Erdogan be near the bottom of the list worse than Assad and Nasrallah which means that the Egyptians who participated in this study are either pro dictatorship or used a dart game to make their selection. 3agaby ya masr

  3. You guys with no freedom of the press crack me up. The free world constitutes 45% of the world populace, and not a singl eone of us trusts a single Muslim dictator. How brain-damaged would you have to be to do so?

  5. Tunisia, like Egypt and Turkey, is a dictatorship. It is a one-party political system backed by the military. There is not one single democratic Muslim nation, nor has there ever been, nor will there ever be. There actually can't be for 2 reasons: (1) Islam is completely incompatible wth democracy, itself being a totalitarian doctrine designed to expand the power of one colonialist dictator, and (2) since one of the basic tenets of democracy is separation of church and state. And even where there is nominal separation of church and state in Muslim countries, even the fake democracies like Egypt and Turkey, the laws are still based on Sharia. Like in the "new" Afghanistan there is theoretical freedom of religion, but if the religion one chooses happens to be anything other than Islam, one is killed. That's how democracy and freedom work in Muslim countries like Tunisia, where women are hunted down and shot in the street by the military for not wearing the medieval Nazi slave rag on their heads. There are no "secular nationalist regimes" in the Muslim world.

  7. @jdamn, what about Malaysia ??
    people always forget this
I am sorry but Islam was from the first religions that call directly for equity , for justice that do not differnetiate between races or economic statues , and for democracy based on disucssion and debate
of course you do not know this ,you won't know this and you do not want that , you are not open to any dialogue , you hate us and you disrespect us
FYI the three regimes you mention are secular -anti religious regimes especially Tunisia , check their laws dear

  8. Their laws are all based on Sharia, and allow for polygamy, murder of apostates and out-and-out persecution of religious minorities, not to mention institutionalized pedophilia, no concept of rape, female genital mutilation, and the same medieval inheritance and legal representation laws of the Bedouin Arabs of the year 600.

And CHRISTIANITY was the first religion that called for equality, as evidenced by the fact that Jesus PREACHED THE GOLDEN RULE, ran around with Mary Madgalene as his equal, freed the slaves, and washed the feet of sick women, instead of instructing women to wipe their slave-owners' ("husbands" in Islam) faces with their feet. It predated Islam by 600 years, and Islam NEVER had any concept of equality, just submission and duality, a system which, by definition, considers some people to be people and some to be sub-human. Muhammad enslaved people, raped women, committed genocide, and locked his women up in a house and forced them to go out, only with him, only under medieval Nazi slave rags, and he didn't even allow his wives to remarry after his death. Nice break for the poor brain-damaged Aisha who spent 48 years locked up in a house ... and still never learned to read, btw, while he married 20 chicks. Yeah, that's equality.

And Mohamed, why do all Egyptians keep assuming that I'm a man? I'm not. Are you all just so unaccustomed to women having brains, opinions, legitimate educations, and the guts to express themselves? Because you keep forcing me to assume that time and time again, which only proves me right time and time again, over and over.

  9. @jdamn 30, first of all I assumed that you are a man from hateful writing ,second of all please comment in the correct post , third of all Prophet Mohammed "PBUH" did not marry 20 chick , fourth Lady "Aisha" did not stay at home and was that ignorant my dear because Lady Aisha was a like a preacher for women in Islam , also she was very educated and she was from the people who transferred the prophetic quotes and Holy Quran
fifth for zillion times FGM is not from Islam , it is only an African Habit , FGM is not practiced in any Islamic country except those in Africa
    so please use your brain
Sixth I feel pity for you because there are fake websites with wrong information you like to use in your debates to prove us wrong as if we are ignorant with our religion and if we do not know it and do not tell me ex-Muslim here and there
You hate our religion ok , You can stand us ok , you want us all die ok , you are waiting your cowboy to save you from us ok
we got it from the first time , move on to another blog to spread your hate and lies
