Ramadan Arabian Nights 2019 : King Haras Episode 10 "The palace owner’s tale"

Good evening or Good afternoon or Good morning where ever you are now and reading this post.
Tonight we will start the third tale in a tale for this year’s first tale, the tale of King Haras.

To refresh your memory and to know where we stopped, I recommend you go back and hear last night’s episode.

Now without further ado, you can hear to the tenth episode or episode no.188 of the Egyptian State Radio’s One Thousand and One Nights show in Arabic after the break.

The king and his vizier return back to the Palace owner once again disguised as foreign slave traders. The two insist that he hosts them in order to know his tale especially they are going to leave the city the next day.
The young man hosts them in a lavish dinner and then begins telling them his story.

His name is Azad from another foreign land and he has been in the city for nearly a year. A son of a wealthy jeweler, he once lived a life full of wealth and leisure with his friends.
One day he was summoned to see his father on his deathbed.
On his deathbed, his father tells him one thing to remember aside from all the wealth left to him: When all the people including his friends abandon him, he should hang himself at the peach tree in their garden.

Bizarre as it seems, the son tells his father that he will do as he commands.
Time passes and the young man spent his wealth on fancy stuff and celebrating with his friends till the day has come and he begins to borrow money.
Then one day the money lender, a shylock comes knocking his door reminding him that he must pay to sell his palace. Azad asks for two weeks period in return of paying the money sum in double “because he is stupid”.
Now he must do something to get the money ready in two weeks.

Tomorrow night, we will know what he will do.
