Ramadan Kareem
Here is our third night of Ramadan Arabian nights.
First, you can refresh your memory and listen to last night’s episode. Now, here is the third episode of our tale tonight.
A princess on an Arabian Horse by Kate Baylaw |
It was episode no.585 of our favorite show.
Prince Rihan continues to meet Princess Hanom claiming that he was a stable boy. Throughout the festival he meets her in their hunting trips.
On the last day of the festival, Hanom confesses that she loves since seeing him wondering why she can’t marry a commoner. She tells Rihan that her father went to King Luqman to ask him if he can take him aka the stable boy to work for them. Yet Luqman was too busy, and King Sadoom felt it was inappropriate to ask him then.
Rihan also confesses his love to her yet suddenly the two lovers are interrupted by King Luqman’s men who call Rihan with his royal title thus exposing him in front of Princess Hanom.
Rihan explains the situation to Princess Hanom promising that he will marry her.
That’s the story of Rihan’s bride which the young prince shares with his wise father and his vizier. Luqman shocks his son and tells him that he can’t marry his beloved Hanom breaking his promise to him because it won’t be just to the other three kings of the three islands.
The three other kings may think that Luqman is preferring King Sadom as his in-law when he earned their trust, respect and followship through justice and equality. Thus, his son can’t marry Hanom due to politics.
Prince Rihan tells him that he won’t marry then because he promised Hanom.
The vizier who is not less wise than his king has got an idea and it seems that Luqman has got the same idea: Why not to marry the daughters of the four kings?
Despite he is against polygamy for the sake of polygamy, Luqman believes it is a good solution for the Kingdom’s future. Rihan is hesitant but he will go to King Sadom’s island and ask Hanom if she agrees to this arrangement.
Here is the third episode of the tale televised.
Till next night inshallah.
