It seems that Farouk Hosni has suddenly remembered that we have a very old synagogue that needed to be restored.
The man still has an ambition to win the UNESCO Chair , of course he denies that this decision has anything to do with his candidacy !
Really then why the ministry of Culture and the high supreme council of antiquity ignored this historical synagogue for decades !!??
The fact that he suddenly remembers it now enforces the belief that he did it only to win the Jewish’s appeal in the world. Hosni must understands that it goes beyond the Jews and Israel ,he is not the best candidate to represent Egypt in this important international organization with his black history !!
The time of declaration is weird of course however I myself think generally that anything over our land should be respected. Hence for the Jewish Synagogue itself OK to restore but for timing? WIERD.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Hicham , but it is strange that it has been left like this for decades and suddenly they remembered it not to mention there are Jewish buildings that need the same care
