  4. I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised to read about this, here and at BikyaMasr. Of course Egyptians want to show support for and solidarity with the victims of the Christmas Eve shooting... and of course the government would stop them. Besides, what a convenient way to silence a good deal of vocal opposition. Insh'Allah they will be home with their families soon...

  10. I'M JUST SAYING IT'S STRANGE HOW ALL OF THE REAL BLOGGERS IN EGYPT GET DETAINED OR HARASSED BUT NOT YOU AND YOU WRITE ALL KINDS OF ANTI-REGIME POSTS. IT'S VERY STRANGE. UNUSUAL. WHO DO YOU KNOW THAT PROTECTS YOU FROM BEING DETAINED OR HARASSED.

ARE YOU ONE OF THOSE REGIME PUPPETS THAT YOU TALK ABOUT THAT CRITICIZES THE REGIME BUT WITH THE REGIME'S PERMISSION? WHO ARE YOU REALLY? ARE YOU EVEN A FEMALE?

ENQUIRING MINDS ARE WONDERING WHY YOU SEEM TO ESCAPE ANY NEGATIVE REPERCUSSIONS AS A RESULT OF WHAT YOU WRITE IN THAT BAD ENGLISH OF YOURS.

  15. I know this thread is old but I wish that you would call to your readers attention that the U.S. is fighting against governmental restrictions on the internet.Check out Hilary Clinton's statement regarding China's interference.

  16. Mr.Smith, the state department has addressed the arrest of these bloggers in Egypt also. Regarding China , well it does not surprise me , already I did not like the fact that google used to inform the regime there with the details of the users in the past
