It is unconfirmed and it has not been announced yet officially in Egypt especially Mubarak this month has been active attending the annual graduation of war schools in the country.
The Israeli media has been claiming recently that he has got Esophageal cancer and Ovadia Yosef is praying for his speedy recovery.
The famous Egyptian proverb says that there is no smoke without fire , may be he is ill after all.
Update :
According to close sources to the presidential palace the man is fine and does not complain from anything serious !!
Does Mubarak smoke? A lot of Egyptians do.
ReplyDeleteI heard that he used to drink just like so many top officials in the country who are sure to keep this info as a secret, not sure if he still does.
ReplyDelete@Jason , he does not smoke but there was a rumor that he used to drink
ReplyDelete@anonymous , I heard it , I do not think he still does after all these health problems
@Zeinobia, He was seen smoking a cigar one time with late marshal Abu Ghazala while attending a football game in the beginning of his presidency. There was also a rumor that he married the widow of an airforce officer for a brief period of time in the mid 90's.
ReplyDeletePeople, he is OLD..
ReplyDeleteHow can a man in his age survive if he doesn't get a very good medical care? If he was left un-attended, he'll collapse very soon.
