Surely this is the oldest cigarette TV commercial in Egypt ,it seems to me to be from the1960s and was coloured in 1970s, it is about the "Nasr Cigarette" that does not exist anymore , it seems to me that it used to be exported to the Arab world. The advertisiters are using cartoons which were common in the 1960s and 1970s , for there were accepted by people so much then especially Children.

ReplyDeleteNo Cleopatra is produced by the Eastern co. this was produced by the Nasr company , I think Nasr company for tobacco is privatized just like the rest of Nasr Company family

by the way I am currently searching for the Ramsis car TV ad , my mom told me that it was hilarious one , she and her sisters still remember till now

@Zeinobia, Milamine is a special kind of plastic resin that they used to make plates out of it. I still remembr the commercial lyrics. "Ana el Milamine, Ana gamed wa mateen, Ana badal el seen (china)". lol
ReplyDelete@Hazem , yeah Milamine , I know about it we got couple of them in the kitchen , still unfortunately I could not find its ads , it seems to be a funny cartoonish one , still I will search for it , If I found the first cartoons in Egypt then insh Allah I will find them :)
