After his runaway

The general prosecutor in Egypt has won an appeal against the innocence verdict that cleared health sector NDP tycoon and MP Hani Sorror in the infamous contaminated blood bags case.
Sorror through his connection and influence in the NDP became one of the main supplier of the blood bags to the health ministry in Egypt , the blood bags he used to import turned out to be contaminated with germs which can threaten the life of the patients with dangerous diseases especially that they were mainly used in the public sector hospitals. It was a huge scandal full of corruption from bribes to the health ministry officials to use of influence , the typical scenario you will find in the life of NDP Businessmen and members in the Parliament.
Sooner the General prosecutor accused Sorror and his partners of corruption in a very big case that really should have been transferred on air especially the trial was getting more and more interesting with the sudden death of the Judge and how the Judge’s brother accused Sorror of being responsible of his death. People began to suspect so after the surprising new court verdict that Sorror was innocent!!
Of course the General Prosecutor made an appeal , Sorror is a guilty man according to undisputed evidence.
Now this week after we have already forgotten the case because of the Hisham Talaat Mustafa trial we found out that the names of Hani Sorror and his partners were lifted from the travel abroad ban list with no further explanation ,ok he was an innocent and he had the right to travel. Still after 48 hours from that sudden order from the interior ministry , the General prosecutor won the appeal and Hani is guilty in front of the law and the trial will be opened again.  Strange timing indeed between lifting the ban and the court order as you see. It is as if the regime wanted to give him time to escape and to join his friend Mamdouh Ismail !!!
Now there are rumors that he fled away to Paris , I do not know if there is an extradition treaty between us and the French but I think he ran away to Paris ,he would have time to go to UK , the heaven of the Egyptian runaways !!
FYI Sorror before this scandal was the deputy of the economic committee in the Parliament , the same committee headed by Ahmed Ezz !!
By the way I should have mentioned earlier that the person who exposed Hani Sorror scandal in the health ministry was a woman,a brave honest woman called Sohair Mohamed Abd El-Aziz El-sharkawy.
Another thing Sorror’s daughter is married to famous star Karim Abd El-Aziz .
