UAE has banned the import of Egyptian meat products and diary products .
It seems that we are having foot and mouth disease and we are the last people to know as usual !! Our government is keeping it locally in the oven where as other countries care for its citizens and ban the import of these animal products from Egypt !!??
The size of Egyptian diary exports to UAE is worth to 35 million Egyptian pound annually.
Now if we have foot and mouth disease ,plus avian flu plus vegetables contaminated with carcinogenic fertilizers what shall we eat ?? Seriously what to do or eat ??
Why do we have to be reactive and not proactive ?
I do understand the ministries of health and agriculture concern especially there is already panic in Egypt because of swine flu and avian flu but receiving the information from abroad will not help because people may believe there is a disaster the government is keeping in the oven.
There is panic already in Egypt because the pork meat coming from slaughtered pigs are sold as beef , it actually happened. Experts warned that pork meat will be used in sausage and burgers. People began already to stop eating from fast food chains for fear that pork would be used as it is cheaper !!
I believe the government should come straight concerning that foot and mouth disease in Egypt.

We have foot & Mouth Disease, All Kind of Flus, Cancers, Plus Ignorance and violence and Police Brutality.
Now after I knew the truth, I felt much better and can sleep calmly.

Felt bad for the Egyptian people especially the poor Egyptians! That is what happened when the regime dont give a damn about the country and its people! Thanks to Mubarak.
