Happy New year, this is the first Kodak Agfa post in the year 2021
This is one of the best Kodak Agfa’s photographic moments in 2020.
The Golden hour aka a late August sunset |
The golden hour in Marina Alamein in late August.
For the first time, I managed to photograph the amazing golden hour in a perfect moment.
I just wonder how the two in the sea parachute saw that scene from above |
People played with jetskis and speed boat till the sunset.
A jetski in the Golden hour |
The speed boat dragging the parachute. |
Thank God for this moment.
The golden hour and the jetski |
The photos were taken from a fish restaurant overlooking one of the lagoons in Marina.
The other side of the lagoon |
The other side of the lagoon got the villas of once the famous Mubarak regime’s ministers and rich businessmen.
Marina Alamein has lost its glory in the last decade and many of its wealth famous residents went West into gated resorts of Sidi Abdel Rahman.
Marina is now quiet and its wild parties are moved West
Many of its units, chalets and villas are sold and rent for cheap prices.
I do not know what will be the fate of that famous resort in the upcoming years after the inauguration of the upcoming New Alamein City.
The towers of New Alamein can be seen from far away in old Marina during the golden hour |
New Alamein City is one of the mega-national projects launched by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. It is planned to be operating throughout the year and to be Egypt’s second capital in the summer.
Its big towers are marketed as its iconic buildings.
The towers of New Alamein |
The prices of the units in those towers are considered the most expensive in the area. It seems that old Marina will join its sisters Marbella and Merakia resorts.
One more picture for a magical golden hour |
Anyhow, happy new year and stay safe.
