Coronavirus on the Nile: Egypt’s COVID-19 June 2021 numbers in Graph

This is the time of our monthly post about the coronavirus pandemic and its numbers in graphs.

The official numbers of coronavirus cases in Egypt declined sharply in June 2021 following a steady decline in the second half of May 2021.

Based on official statements as well personal observation, we have truly passed the third wave of coronavirus pandemic in June completely.

Disclaimer: According to Minister of Health Hala Zayed in early January, the official numbers of cases represent between 10%-15% of the real number of cases worldwide Egypt included.

Now to June's official numbers' graph.

First, the official daily cases of coronavirus in Egypt.

The numbers dropped sharply as you can by the end of the month. Again those numbers represent the patients who enter the ICUs in designated coronavirus isolation hospitals in the country in critical condition according to official statements, not the mild cases of coronavirus or those who receive treatment at home.

Moving to the fatalities official numbers.

Just like the daily official toll of cases, the fatalities numbers declined that month.

Nevertheless, the WHO says that Egypt has high fatalities rate in the region unfortunately even with our official numbers. We are in the third position after Iran and Iraq.

Moving to the fully recovered patients, which is the good news in this pandemic.

Just stay safe and register yourself to get vaccinated if you are in Egypt as soon as possible inshallah.
