The Thursday Rant and Rave podcast in Arabic is back with a new season of tales and rants in Arabic.
This episode should have been published Friday night, but several issues made me publish it on Monday night.
Here is what I ranted about in Arabic.
It is about Travis Scott’s new album launch concert in Egypt's ongoing saga. In case, you do not know Egypt’s Musicians Syndicate cancelled a permit that allows famous and popular singer Traves Scott to hold an album launch concert.
The cancellation comes amidst claims that went viral that Scott is an Afrocentric satanic who will present to Satan as sacrifice from the audience to open a gate into hell at the Great Pyramid of Giza.
Now there are new updates that took place after I published my post in English.
Egypt’s Tickets Marche warned that if the concert is cancelled, the financial losses can reach up to LE 300 million.
Tickets March Mohamed Serge asked President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to allow the concert to be held. Serge is facing hell as it turned out that the 4,000 tickets to the concerts have been sold mostly to foreigners who will come to Egypt to attend the concert.
The tickets were sold in Egypt for LE 6,000 and LE 7000. Serge is urging the officials to allow the concert equipment to enter the place by Tuesday to be ready for the concert on 28 July.
It is unclear whether the concert is going to be held or not despite many celebs above them Egyptologist Zahi Hawass and Singer Ahmed Saad believing it is better to hold it for the sake of the country’s reputation.
Head of Musicians syndicate aka Union Mostafa Kamel admitted that the syndicate did not do any kind of search about Travis Scott when the syndicate issued its permit!!
Do not even how they can permit a concert for foreign singers in the country without even knowing his background.
Nevertheless, Kamel admitted that the whole matter is actually in the hands of the security authorities. If the security authorities allow it then he will respect the order of the security authorities.
Now on Thursday and for the first time, the man in the spotlight; Scott Travis himself issued a statement in English as a message to the Egyptian government and people asking to be allowed to hold the concert on time.
Travis asserted in his statement that he respects religions, and he comes from a family that attends masses at church in Houston, Texas. He denied all the charges of his role in the Astroworld tragedy.
By the way, the Podcast is also available online on YouTube. I had to post there in the hope of clarifying some misinformation that spread like fire on the world’s most popular online video platform.
Here is the RSS of the Podcast which I hope you follow if you speak Arabic.
Here is the podcast's URL on Spotify and Apple Podcast. It is also available on Stitcher, Google Podcasts and Anghami. Do not forget to leave good reviews on Apple Podcast if you like it and thanks for your time.
I want to thank all those amazing listeners who are kind enough to listen to my rants in Arabic and the amazing readers who are kind enough to read those very long posts in English.
4000 annoying foreigners who want to take over our culture. It is not necessary. Our integrity is first. We don't want them here. Stay away and take your stupid afrocentric nonsense with you. You are not welcome here.
