Yesterday the discussions of the constitution amendments began at the Parliament ,causing a great debate and controversy.
The Opposition from MB, Nasserists,Socialists,Wafad and independent members are refusing those amendments where as the NDP members as usual agree on it.
It is not a debate but it reached to the level of a battle
The opposition members at first wanted to demonstrate their total refusal to the amendments by a mass resignation from the Parliament but they didn't and rethought again , Already some rumors came and said that the MB members feared that it could be a trick from the NDP with the Independent and Nasserist members to push them out of the parliament by their own will , to get rid of them and so the suggestion didn't work .
There were some alternatives , they don't attend the sessions , to begin a strike in the Parliament for a complete 3 days starting from yesterday.The number of those members are exactly 103 members, 88 from the MB and 14 from the independent
Already Yesterday was the first day of the discussion in the parliament and it was like the circus since to the NDP members ,I mean they came with posters and silly motto ,I mean at least the opposition used posters outside the Parliament not inside it !!
With my all respect to the 103 members and their refusal to share in this crime that is so-called "Constitution amendments" yet the strike and boycotting the discussion sessions are the not the solution
The Solution is to fight back even if they know they will lose in the end , what they will lose , nothing because in either ways the amendments will take place , but at least they can cause lots of stir in the Egyptian street by discussing on air why they are refusing it , and why we all as Egyptians should stand and refuse them .
I am surprised that one of MB talked about the Judgement day and forgot that there many few who won the many by their faith.
Do you know that in the last week , Ahmed Ezz , the second man in the NDP after Gamal Mubarak gathered the NDP members in the parliament in one of Cairo's hotel in order to let them know what their roles will be in the next few weeks !!??
Those 103 should go inside , not stand outside and speak in front of the cameras , in front of the whole world discussing logically why they are refusing those amendments to the regular Egyptian
They must say why it is bad to have a police state
They must say why it is bad not to have a judicial supervision on the elections
They should not retired , they should fight back , that's why they were elected
The MB now are forgetting the golden rule of Islam , and they are playing the Silent devil with their silence , it is not to speak outside but it is much more important to speak inside , as inside it is recorded , it will be recorded for the history that at least some 103 stood against the majority and said no for these specific reasons 1,2,3,..........
You know the 103 are giving the service of life time to the NDP by leaving the session foolishly ,because that what the NDP needs a discussion and approval in the parliament without any objection or rejection !!
