This is the smartest kid in Egypt .
9 years old Mahmoud Wael Mahmoud is the talk of the town now . His IQ is 155 more than kids in his average age in fact more than ministers I know currently in the cabinet. I read that he will join the Guinness book of world record insh Allah
He will be able to join university insh Allah after 5 years from now.
Mahmoud was born on 1/1/1999 , for a middle class family, his parents are both doctors and he has two elder sisters.
I think part of being genius is the atmosphere he is living in , his father seems to be from the Parents who raise their children to do nothing in their lives except to study and be the top on their classes.
Mahmoud went to be either a doctor like his dad or a software programmer ; by the way Microsoft Egypt is looking after him.
May Allah protect him ,I just wish that his family and the society will not push him too much , he is just a kid in the end who likes to watch cartoon.
When I saw him I remember this cartoon character from Disney's Meet the Robinsons , I do not mean any insult but he looks so cute , a little nerd with his hair and eye glasses

smarter than most people his age :)
I agree though, they really should allow him to have a normal childhood while still watching out for his future.
The video says 155 is the highest IQ in the world which isn't really true, although it may be the highest for someone his age. Supposedly IQ tests don't tend to be very discrimatory after 130, to find out how smart you are after that you have to join a society like Mensa which only allows people in the 98th percentile and higher IQ to join.
According to the Guiness Book of World Records, the person with the highest I.Q. is Marilyn vos Savant. Her I.Q. has been listed between 200-240 give-or-take a few points.

@Hani, I think you are right 155 is not the highest IQ in the world ,may be it is the highest among his age
