Dr. ElBaradei Speaks With Amr Adeeb Again

For the second time Dr. Mohamed ElBaradei sits with Amr Adeeb about Egypt and his political view yet there is a huge difference between the first time in Vienna and this time in Giza.

Amr Adeeb aired a long interview with ElBaradei yesterday , you can watch it below

Despite repeating that he is not a pro politician, ElBaradei proved in that particular interview that  he is a real pro politician , it is our political life that is not a professional normal one due to the dictatorship we have been living in in the last 58 years. The country that considers a man with the history of Safwat El-Sharif as a pro politician does not really have a political life.

It was like a boxing match and with my all due respect Amr Adeeb was more like a sandbag not even a contender. I just wonder if Adeeb dares to speak with Mubarak in that way or even dares to ask him these questions.

Dr. ElBaradei also had an interview the official website of Muslim Brotherhood.

This week was busy one for Dr. ElBaradei starting with his trip to Alexandria then his meeting at his house with the American Ambassador by own her request then this interview. The fact that he did not announce that interview raised some eyebrows but let us remember that Gamal Mubarak travels to the States secretly and meets with the officials there off the record (2006 and 2009), at least the American Ambassador was the one who went to ElBaradei not vice versa.

He also revealed that he met with his supporters who were expelled from Kuwait.

As expected his interview in Newsweek and the magazine itself did not make to the newsstand in the country and the regime is trying to sabotage his public meetings.

  1. I loved the part when he throw the bomb that NDP members have been sending him messages via common friends that they also support him, including some of those who have bad mouthed him in public and Amr's reaction was priceless :D

  3. Thank you for the video. Dr. El Baradei is so very well spoken, and so sincere and respectful in his manner of speaking. There were times when I was applauding as he was being interviewed (literally I clapped my hands...and believe me I have never done that before when sitting using my laptop!) A classy, wise , knowledgeable gentleman ...and leader.
