Al Shorouk news and Masrawy announced from short time ago that Khaled El-Ghayesh was found and has been released by the Syrian authorities. It turned out unsurprisingly that El-Ghayesh was detained by the Syrian authorities all that time at Homs. Thanks to the Egyptian embassy and ministry of foreigner affairs he has been released.
El-Ghayesh will arrive to Cairo soon insh Allah.
Now regarding Radwan who got one hell of reception at Cairo international which he deserves , it seems that there is a deal between the MOF in Egypt and Syrian regime that no one will speak about his TV appearance and confession in return of his release. The Syrian president ordered his immediate release and the Syrian ambassador says that there were no charges against him which means SANA and Syrian TV are big fat liars. What confirms my theory is how FM Nabil Al-Araby told Mona El-Shazly not to ask about that TV confession during his interview ;)
When the Ba'ath regime in Syria is down , I am sure Radwan will speak more about that TV confession hopefully soon.

ReplyDeleteWrong! Regimes does not collapse themselves, and especially not being silent and obedient.

That is deplorable. Willingness to be "flexible" on freedom of speech cannot be justified. That is not a place to be flexible.
