Very interesting article "great thanks to dear Laura for posting it in the comments of Pyongyang response"
Well I leave you to read it first
Link to The Korea Times : History Distortion Prepares China for North's Collapse
Well I believe my opinion about China was not wrong somehow , I talked only about Alliance
but the one who really got it right is dear Ahmed who said the following :
But from ground zero, I can tell you that the key word in the N.Korean issue is CHINA, the big fat scary red China. We all know that the Americans keep some troops, warships and bases in South Korea, and they are almost on the borders of N.Korea, I also assume that we all know that N.Korea is the strategic depth for the North Eastern China and the Chinese would never allow any American presence on their very own strategic borders, the Chinese don't have sense of humor like the Arabs or the Native Americans!!!
China has been supporting N.Korea not because of its a sister communist country, it's because they don't want to have any American troops on their borders, and on the other hand we all can see the soft American position (unlike in the middle east) against N.Korea "ACTUAL" nuclear weapons, they don't dare to piss off the Chinese awaking dragon.
It makes sense this way
China is an expected world power and rival to the U.S , and is doing an excellent job in learning from the mistakes of other ex-powers especially the ex-Soviet union which shares the same ideology "some how" and got the same rival "the United States"
China won't accept American troops on its borders , in the same way Russia did , who could ever thought that the Americans would be on the borders of the ex-Soviet Union in Afghanistan in the other shore of the Caspian sea .
North Korea is a strategic depth to China the same way Sudan to Egypt
China is playing a big game and it is playing it according to the rules of the Ancient book "Art of War" :)
