It did not take a long time yesterday after the announcement of H1N1 Case N.19 when The ministry of health has declared that 14 months Canadian Sudanese toddler is the latest infected case in Egypt. The toddler came from Canada through Amsterdam to Cairo. He arrived on the 11th of June and started to suffer from the symptoms on the 12th of June. He was transferred to some hospital in Cairo and was given Tamflu. Thank God his condition is stable currently. This Sudanese toddler is No.20 in our H1N1 infection toll.
There is a good news announced yesterday also ; the American Egyptian engineer that works in an Oil company in Maadi "GABCO" has recovered from the virus. He was from the early H1N1 cases discovered in Egypt , of course his Colombian wife is still in the hospital. We thought that he was a Pure American like the AUC students but he turned out to be also Egyptian.
I think most of the case up till are from Egyptian Americans who returned back home.
