I was hesitated to publish photos in this post but after a lot of thinking, I believe it is not a violation of Khalid's privacy and rights which have been already violated in the most disgusting way ever.
It is an irony because maybe these photos may restore his rights and dignity.
You may wonder who Khalid , well Khalid Mahmoud Said Sobhi is or rather was a-28-years old young man from Alexandria , he has become the latest victim of police brutality in Egypt after being killed by two police agents in an internet café in front of everybody.
All what Sobhi has done was simply rejecting the treatment of the police agents to the customers in the café , apparently they were inspecting people there and do not ask me if they have a search warrant or what they were searching.
Sobhi refused to listen for the two agents' orders and that was enough to make them angry to the level slapping , kicking Sobhi then they hit his head in to a marble table in the café.
Naturally you can imagine the scene and blood coming from the head of the young man,the café owners plead them to stop but all that they had done was to take Khalid who was technically dying outside to complete their monster ball.
They took him in his last ride in the patrol car then returned back to throw his dead body in the street !!
I do not know if they even knew his name or not but I know that there is a huge responsibility upon all the eye witnesses who saw that crime going on and kept watching it, who saw that crime and did not do their duty and report it to anyone.
Ayman Nour reported this case saying that the incident reached to the Ghad party in Alexandria and that the Police is searching for those who filmed the incident on their mobile phones from the internet café customers at Sidi Gabr area.
Now here are the photos of Khalid in the morgue showing the indisputable evidence of violence and torture. I have to warn the readers that they are extremely graphic.
Again I posted these photos after a lot of thinking and I am sorry if I hurt anyone by posting them but I am trying along with my Egyptian co-bloggers to stop this abuse of power and this fear , this is for Egypt , this is for Khalid whom could be me or could be my younger cousin.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un. May Allah swt bless his soul and forgive his sin and place him in Jannah insyallah. This are the typical Mubarak regime criminal tools. Given so much power to the police that this people forget their duty and responsibility. Police duty to protect its citizen not to slaughtered them and take advantage of the system and emergency law that give them free hands with licence to kill! but honestly I blamed it on Egyptian people for being scared all their life and didnt stand up against this regime and its law!
ReplyDeleteI saw the photos this morning. They made me cry to death although I am not an easy-crying person.
ReplyDeleteI hope his death wont go unnoticed. I hope his death be the wake up call for those Egyptians who are still fooling themselves about the pressing need for change. Allay yer7amo we yente2em men ele kano el sabab we ele sa3dohom ye3'ato el garema di
ReplyDeleteI hope the people that done this to this young man it rot in hell!
ReplyDeleteAnother regretful and sad incident originating from east German Stasi experts(formerly Nazi) trainers imported to Egypt by Nasser & carried on till today.
ReplyDeleteThousands & thousands Egyptians ended the same way during Nasser's reign.
The aim is to control the population through fear, terror, poverty and oppression.
This just breaks my heart ! Why this is someone's baby !! A life is Precious ... what kind of a person could do such a horrific crime and feel that it is acceptable. GOD has given man free will and this is what they choose to do to his creation? Why they have torchure so many by this cruel act. This kind of behavior needs to stop! GOD has given everyone life and yet someone chooses to do this .............. Seriously what kind of Men could do such a thing??????????? And especially a man who has been given power are you kidding me ..... WAKE UP EVERYONE !!!!!!!! To his family .. I am so SORRY and to those who have done this and those who allow this behavior .. Remember YOU ARE NOT GOD and WE ALL REAP what We SEW !! SHAME ON YOU - SHAME ON YOU ...
ReplyDeleteand that's why I left egyprt 10 years ago and never been beck since
ReplyDeletePolice Brutality is same all over the world. It is a matter of citizens around to fight and realize that the actual terrorist to a human society is the police force, which only works to implement government policy at any cost!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately his life was not important to egyptian officials and the People wont do anything , they may scream and demonstrate once or twice and that s the end of it . I wish they carry on like the people in Greece who continued to demand justice for over a couple of months over the death of one Youth . I would not like to Live in Egypt , under Mubark rule . horrible . i think ALL Arab leaders and officials and police officials are like that , same mentality . it will take a few generations to understand the concept of human rights and human dignity . we need to teach this concept to our children in primary school . they would pet a cat rather than kick it viciously as they do .
ReplyDeleteEgypt...Egypt will never change till the day of justice!..No matter anything is said or done..it will always be the same!
ReplyDeleteلا بد من الحساب ...لا بد من العقاب..و المسؤول لازم يوقف عند حده
ReplyDeleteAs a fellow human being I cannot express the deep sadness welling up inside me right now, not only for the loss of Khalid's life, but also for the role my government (United States) has had in helping prop up the oppresive governments throughout the Middle East.
ReplyDeleteMy heart goes out to all of you in the Middle East. I am so sorry for all of the things that have happened to you and hope you will know there ARE some Western/Christian/American people who want to live in peace with you.
Luckily, there are a growing number of people here that have found out about Ron Paul and the philosophy of Individual Liberty.

ReplyDeleteWhen I heard of this about Khalid, it broke my heart kteeer. All I can say is, Father, God, please Forgive them, for they know not what they do, and who is without sin cast the first stone. "For God So Loved the world That He Gave His One and Only Son, Jesus ... that whosoever believes in Jesus shall not perish But Have EverLasting Life." John 3:16

ReplyDeleteA Jordan man who is now Director of Middle East research at Carnegie Endowment,Marwan Muasher ,stated the following: " This the principle. There is nothing wrong. Everything is under control."
Noam Chomsky , Professor and author of over 100 books calls it the Muasher Principle:
" Meaning as long as the population is quiet, acquiescent - maybe fuming with rage, but doing nothing about it - everything's fine, there's nothing wrong. It's all under control. That is the operative principle. "
So, we can only hope the demonstrator's in Egypt do not lose heart and become quiet.

ReplyDeleteI am a Christian, an American woman and am ashamed that mankind has enabled and allowed this type of behavior. I find you a very brave and courageous man to speak your heart and stand for what is right for Khaled and all mankind. I pray that Khaled Said did not die in vain. The sins of the attackers are unforgivable except by God. I would be honored to call you friend and pray that you never again will have to experience the death of another fellowman being so savagely beaten by hateful men with no concept of love and peace ... I pray for his family knowing they have made the ultimate sacrifice in losing their precious son. I am proud of the people who stand for good and truth ... love and peace to all.
ReplyDeleteMay he sing with the angels. My heart goes out to him and his family. The Egyptians have had to endure so much terror. My sister honeymooned there and hated it. She couldn't stand the thought of her in an expensive hotel where outside the window people were begging for food and sleeping on the streets. She also couldn't believe the greed of the rich with things like a pizza hut by the sphinx. I know this is trivial compared to the torture and brutality Egyptians have endured but just wanted to say that it hasnt gone unnoticed. People care here about Egypt and we are sp proud of egyptians. To peacefully organise such a vast protest for democracy is something that has humbled many British people. God bless you all
ReplyDeleteFinally, the day has come that the Mubarek legacy is over and justice is imminent. I prayed to God (Allah) that the evil regime would collapse despite the US and Israeli backing. God helps those who helps themselves and God stood by the people of Egypt in their battle against 30 years of evil and torture. May his regime and those who committed these acts ...including the king of toture, Omar the murderer Soleiman and CIA thugs, the murderers of Khalid Said....murderer Mahmoud Salah Amin and murdered Awad Ismail Suleiman ...you killed your brother...may you rot in hell with the biggest thief and murderer of all...Mubarek and company....I pray God has NO MERCY on your soul...NONE.....I pray 5 times a day and I hope I live another 50 years...as I am in good health..Alhamdulilah....
ReplyDeleteThis is for you Khalid and all the other martyrs/victims of this miserable regime....May Allah forgive all your sins....

This excessive police brutality will take place when the people fail to hold its Government to account. It must never happen again and if the USA says it did not know it is because they did not want to know.Evil triumphs where good men stand by and do nothing.Khalid should be made a National Hero and Mubarak a National Zero.
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm a Wikipedia editor and we're having a discussion about the image of Khaled Saeed regarding the copyright of the image, where the original is, how it was distributed, etc. Basically, we want to know if there is a copyright on the images, if yours are directly linked to the original, or if you know where another 'official' version is located online. It would be great if you could drop me an email at wikiocaasi@yahoo.com -- We're trying to make sure the image can be included in the article about his death (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_of_Khaled_Mohamed_Saeed), and you might be able to help with that. Thanks, Ocaasi
ReplyDeleteI doubt that any one is going to respond. No one wants to die and they may think you are trying to coax them out. Please post the images. I don't think any one would mind. The picture's tell everything. My God, what a world!
Deletei feel so bad for this man its so sad that this happent to him my heart goes out to hes family he did not desrive to die tears filled in my eyes becuz its so heart breaking.. R.I.P your in a better place wer ther is no harm just happeness xxxx
ReplyDeleteI'm Ashamed to be an egyptian after seeing what has happened to this man, in this day and age with the modern wisdoms and the education and communication we all have available. It's such a hard life to live when you know there are others around you who pay the price to surface the truth so we may grow and move on as people. Every man woman and child should be given the security by its own governemnet on its own soil to live without fear and know its protected. We as a nation and a global community must raise our voices, not through violence or bloodshed, but by the very systems that connect us all like facebook, google and others where we stand together as one blood, one heart and one soul, powerful through unity and sing the same song. Only then will the rulers fear for their fragile house of cards and start to conform to the global voice, the universal heartbeat of humanity beating as one.
ReplyDeleteWhat an outrage! The world is truly a scary place. I wanted to see the Great Pyramids. But, after seeing this, I'll just be visiting through the web.
ReplyDeleteRead what I have just published
DeleteI guess the guy above me doesn't know that the youth of Egypt started a revelution against all this terror, that lives have been lost to lead Mubarak and his crew to prison to (hopefully) be prosecuted, to lead this country to it's first ever TRUE presidential elections with tons of competition. Im telling you EGYPT IS SAFE don't believe any rumours, it is a woderful country where you can spend years without experiencing all it's wonder, ancient, modern and natural. I just hope the Muslim Brotherhood don't take us back to these horrible times.
ReplyDeleteI feel so sad for this young man being murdered, how tragic for his family and for himself. His precious life being taken by murderers needlessly. Allah will seek revenge on them and they will not get away with this with him. I am a woman converted to Islam and feel for all of humanity suffering at this time. TO THE PARENTS OF KHALID: I PRAY SUBHNAHU WA TA ALA WILL BE WITH YOU NOW. AS A PARENT OF FOUR CHILDREN I AM SHARING YOUR PAIN OF LOSS FROM ACROSS THE WORLD IN NEW ZEALAND. I CANNOT BEGIN TO IMAGINE HOW TRAUMATIC THIS IS AND WHY INNOCENT PEOPLE LIKE KHALID ARE MURDERED LIKE THIS. THERE ARE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE A PARENTS PAIN AND LOSS.
ReplyDeleteyour american brothers and sisters are crying out for you also, MY BROTHER
