Coronavirus does not give damn to any storm or medicane or dragon.
Egypt’s health ministry announced Thursday evening Egypt’s second Coronavirus death and that 13 new Coronavirus cases were confirmed on the same day.
According to the statement issued MOH on the cases, the Coronavirus second fatality was for an a-60-years-old woman from a village from Dakahlia Governorate in Nile Delta
The lady was admitted to Mansoura Chest hospital after suffering from Acute pneumonia Wednesday morning.
She underwent a PCR test for Corona and it turned positive Wednesday. She was transferred to the quarantine hospital but died there.
It turned out that one member of her family used to live in Italy with his Italian wife and already he suffered from Coronavirus and could not survive because he was already suffering from a tumor.
His Italian wife brought back his body to buried in Egypt and she stayed with our Egyptian lady and her family for three days.
This is the second Coronavirus death officially recorded in Egypt after the German tourist who passed away on 8 March after arriving in Egypt a week earlier.
This is the first Egyptian Coronavirus death inside Egypt.
I am so concerned because this is the first confirmed death and infection outside the Luxor Cruise ship outbreak zone. We are speaking about the Nile Delta.
According to the statement, the 13 cases include 6 cases that showed no symptoms and contracted the virus from positive Corona cases that have been discovered already.
The cases include 10 Egyptians and three foreigners. The 10 Egyptian cases include the Egyptian woman who passed away in Mansoura.
In the same statement, the MOH stated there are 12 Coronavirus patients who recovered and left the Quarantine hospital in Marsa Matrouh from total of 27 Coronavirus patients that tested negative following positive.
The organization stated one of its nurses working who is called Wafaa at Imbaba Fever hospital was tested positive for Coronavirus.
We do not know yet how she contracted the virus.
Ironically, this statement was issued to challenge the claim that the nurses organized a strike following Wafaa’s infection against the administration of the hospital.
Actually, the statement confirmed that there was a small strike and protest that place in the hospital with the help of a bitter ex-employee who is married to a nurse working in the hospital.
Again, we are expanding geographically. It is unclear so far how this nurse contracted the virus though.
It turned out that the ministry of health discovered that one of the students’ parents interacted with one of the foreign Coronavirus patients in Egypt.
In a statement to a TV show on Thursday, MOH Spokesperson Dr. Khaled Maghed stated that the PCR analysis showed that the student and his parent contracted Coronavirus.
City International School is located in Upscale Zamalek, 26 July street in Cairo. It is located in a very vital street with lots of shops, restaurants and shops as well as other schools.
It is worth mentioning that parents are begging the government for real to suspend study in schools like in other countries in the region but the ministry of education says there is no need for this.
The ministry of health mentioned earlier this week that the study can be suspended if there is a bigger outbreak but currently there was no need for that.
In the report published by the New York Times, we find Egypt is accused of sending back 41 coronavirus patients to their homes.
NY Times journalist Declan Walsh raised the attention on Thursday when he stated that according to the NY Times’ count there are nearly 104 who have tested positive Coronavirus after return back from Egypt in the past few weeks.
Saudi Arabia declared new 17 Coronavirus cases in the Kingdom including 11 Egyptian expats who tested positive for Coronavirus.
According to the Saudi Health Ministry, they do not have symptoms and they contracted the virus from a fellow Egyptian expat who tested positive for Coronavirus from couple of days ago.
They are currently in quarantine in Mecca.
Kuwait announced on Friday 20 new cases test positively for Coronavirus including 2 cases from Egyptian expats living in Kuwait who contracted the virus from another patient that was previous
Sudan decided also to closed its borders from Egypt on Thursday.

The statement of the MOH stated also that there are 13 new positive Coronavirus cases raising the number of confirmed cases in Egypt since the outbreak into 80 cases.According to the statement, the 13 cases include 6 cases that showed no symptoms and contracted the virus from positive Corona cases that have been discovered already.

There is not enough information about the 13 cases but the General Organization For Teaching Hospitals and Institutes issued a statement on Thursday that revealed and confirmed rumors that there was a case of a nurse that contracted the virus in the Giza governorate.The organization stated one of its nurses working who is called Wafaa at Imbaba Fever hospital was tested positive for Coronavirus.
We do not know yet how she contracted the virus.
