Coronavirus on the Nile: Ten months of COVID-19 in Egypt in graph

Another monthly post as part of the COVID-19 coverage in Egyptian Chronicles.

This time it is a quick look into COVID-19 numbers in Egypt after ten months, after the month of November that witnessed a surge in the number of daily coronavirus cases.

According to Egyptian officials, Egypt is having its second wave of the pandemic.

They are all based on official numbers released by the Egyptian Health Ministry.

As you can see that official number of total coronavirus infection cases doubled in November and went from “4238” in October to  “8,175”

Based on the calculations, we are about 92.9% increase.

According to Egyptian health officials, the number of COVID-19 cases doubled fours each week in November.

The total official number of coronavirus deaths in November “348” was actually slightly higher than in April “343”.

The recovery rate was increased in November.

The official total number of full recovery cases recorded in November was “3,266”

There is 10.41% increase comparing to October numbers “2,958”.
