Here we are on the 21st night of our Radio Arabian Nights this year.
We will continue our tale for this year, the tale of King Mahorab
First of all, You can refresh your mind with what happened last night here.
It is the 21st episode in our tale and the 543rd night of our Egyptian Radio show.
You can listen to the episode after the break.
Back on his throne in his Kingdom, Mahorab is his court when he finds out that Grand Priest Harut wants to see him and it shocks him !!
Mahorab saw the man dying in front of his eyes in the underworld in his three weddings.
Mahorab takes Harut to his brides who are shocked to see their old priest alive in the humans’ land after dying in all their weddings.

Harut has got an explanation.
Everyone and Everything in the human world has an equal version in the Djinn world and so Mahorab saw his Djinn version in the underworld and those three versions are doppelgängers.
Harut leaves before answering one question.
Mahorab decides to build for each of his queens a palace with the colour she wants aka red palace, blue palace and green palace.
Prince Ghassan, son of Sheikh Dagestan arrives at the court per the request of Mahorab.
Mahorab tells him about his father and that he sends cavalry to the oasis where he found him.
It will take seven days but they take the magic carpet on their trip to the oasis and then will take the horses back.
Mahorab wants to return the invisibility cap and flying carpet to their Djinn owners and Ghassan wants to get his father back.
The next day, Mahorab goes to meet Harut in his temple. He wants to ask him about the three colours he saw on his trip: Red, blue and green.
Harut tells him that colours affect the life of humans and djinn alike because they are connected with stars and planets.
“If there is no light, there is no colour and each colour has a meaning,” The wise old man says adding that red refers to strength and blue to wisdom while green to life.
These three colours are the basis for life.
After seven days, Mahorab and Ghassan take the flying carpet to get to Sheikh Dagestan.
Trivia :
It is interesting to find that Taher Abu Fasha used the name “Harut” for the Grand or the Great Priest in the Human and Jinn worlds with huge knowledge to the level of knowing the future.
Harut is the name in the Quran of one of the two Harut and Marut, the famous fallen angels mentioned in the Holy Quran who are doomed for eternity for disobeying Allah and teaching humans witchcraft.
It is more interesting for me that Abu Fasha used the name freely but still, it was a different time despite all the conservative taboos during then.
Back to our tale, tomorrow inshallah we know what Mahorab and Ghassan find in the oasis.
