This is the time of our monthly post about the coronavirus pandemic and its official numbers in graphs in Egypt.
This is the third February to pass in Egypt during the Covid-19 pandemic, unfortunately.
Egypt was introduced to Coronavirus in February 2020 when a Chinese national tested positive for Covid-19 and the rest is history like in the rest of the world in the past two years.

Hopefully inshallah, it will be the last Covid-19 February.
Disclaimer: According to Minister of Health Hala Zayed last January, the official numbers of cases represent between 10%-15% of the real number of cases worldwide Egypt included.
This statement was repeated this January by the Health Ministry officials too.
First, the official daily cases of coronavirus in Egypt
It is noticeable that the number of daily cases of coronavirus officially recorded a steady decline in February.
Personally, I noticed that too but still there are cases of coronavirus spreading especially among elderly and unvaccinated people too.
Again we are speaking about the official count which is based on the critical cases admitted to the public hospitals.
Those numbers do not represent the real patient numbers or those who are treated in homes or in private hospitals.
Second, the official daily Covid-19-related-fatalities-cases
The number of Coronavirus-related fatalities is still but it began to decline officially.
Unofficially, the coronavirus-related-fatalities are still higher especially among the elderly, unfortunately.
In February, Egypt’s Doctors syndicate recorded 9 fatalities among doctors officially making the total number of fatalities among doctors officially reach 671.
This number does not the full or total number of doctors’ fatalities according to the syndicate’s officials because they only record what they are reported only.
Moving to the fully recovered patients
Now moving to the vaccination situation news, the real good news in February
For the second month, the Health Ministry continued releasing its vaccination numbers despite they removed the total doses.
Egypt administrated a total of 37,285,894 first doses and 26,138,418 second doses
We had 620,004 booster doses
The total number of doses administrated by 31 January were: 64,044,316 doses.
Well, Excel skills were not useless because I use them after all those years to get to the daily doses administrated throughout February.
FYI: I checked several times the data of 9 February and yes, Egypt administrated officially according to the Health Ministry “1,161,06 second doses” on that day. It is the highest number ever reached in the doses administrated this month.
Egypt has not reached the World Health Organization’s goal to fully vaccinate 40% of the population but we already reached 30% of the population fully vaccinated according to the latest numbers released by the Health Ministry.
I do not know why the Ministry did not feature this important milestone but let’s say no one cares any more to follow the coronavirus updates as usual.
