Ramadan Arabian Nights 2023: Tale of Mando “Mando in El-Anwar’s Golden city” #EP23

Ramadan Karim 😀

Did you know that "Al-Anwar" means "the brightest" in Arabic? This interesting piece of trivia is not related to tonight's episode, but it's worth knowing.

In fact, "El-Anwar" is the unofficial name or nickname of the famous El-Hakim Mosque in the heart of Islamic historical Cairo, one of the oldest mosques in the city dating back to the 11th century.

But let's get back to our tale for tonight, the 23rd episode of our tale or the 485th episode of our One Thousand and One Nights show on Egyptian radio, where we follow Mando's journey to the planet Al-Anwar.

It's amazing how he arrived there, and we can't wait to see what he will discover in this bright and advanced civilization.

Synopsis

Verily, Mando had consented to A and Q's proposal to transform his human form into rays and power form, that he might journey with them to their planet, "Al-Anwar."

In the twinkling of an eye, he had arrived at his destination, landing in the city of Q and A.

As he gazed upon the walls of the city, he was struck with wonder, for they were wrought of gold, the gravel beneath his feet composed of pearls and gems, and even the dust that rose in the air was fashioned from amber.

But alas, there were no visible residents to be found, for they were all invisible, much like A and Q themselves. When Mando inquired as to why there was no noise or activity to be heard or seen, Q informed him that they could read minds and know the thoughts before the tongue could speak them.

"A true wise one thinks before he speaks," added A.

Mando was baffled and inquired as to why there were no shops or markets. Q replied that they had no need for such things, for they had overcome the need for food and water long ago.

Mando could not fathom how such a feat was possible and inquired as to how they had achieved it, but A and Q simply chuckled, informing him that he could not understand.

It was revealed that they had brought Mando to their planet in order to gauge his wisdom, to see if he truly spoke words of wisdom. Mando swore that he was not wise and knew nothing of wisdom, but they insisted that he speak those words in front of their king, "El-Dobb El-Akbar."

But alas, when they arrived at the King's palace, the guard was troubled by the notion of a human speaking words of wisdom, fearing that it could lead to the destruction of all life in the universe. They were informed that the King was in his crying retreat and would not be available for a week's time.

Mando was to stay as a guest on the planet for a week, during which time A and Q treated him to a grand banquet of iron, coal, gasoline, and magnesium. To his amazement, he was able to eat and feel full after swallowing pills that Q provided him. It was revealed that the pills contained vegetables, fruits, and meat, and Mando found the taste to be delicious.

A and Q agreed to take Mando on a tour of the city, though they warned him that they could not show him everything, for fear that it would be too much for him to bear. And so Mando embarked on a wondrous tour, his mind filled with awe and amazement at the strange and wondrous sights he beheld. But what fate awaited him when he met the King of this alien civilization? Only time would tell.

Here is tonight’s episode televised

Till tomorrow night inshallah.
