Muntader Al Zaidi speaks about his tortue

Last Saturday Al Jazeera channel aired the longest interview ever made for Muntader Al Zaidi after his release. I saw this episode last Saturday and since then I have been searching for it online till dear Tafatefo kindly uploaded it :) " What Shall I do without you Tafatefo !??"
Muntader discussed the day he threw Bush with his shoes in that part of the interview, why he had done it and the 24 hours followed his historical act.
What Muntader had seen in the first 24 hours is a human rights abuse crime , you can't imagine the torture and suffering he saw , the man is lucky to be alive. He was tortured by the orders of the Maliki's men in the Green Zone , in fact the torture started moments after his arrest in the same building!!
There is no difference between Maliki's men and Saddam's men , the same cruelty , the same mentality !!
You can watch the episode below along with a summary to the major points he mentioned, next Saturday  the second part of the interview will be aired on Al Jazeera channel

Here is the script of the episode in Arabic , also here are some of important points he mentioned in the interview :
  • Muntader threw the shoes because he wanted to avenge for the one million Iraqi killed by the order of G.W Bush.
  • The idea to avenge for Iraqi people and Iraq was not spontaneously on the contrary it was like an accumulation for all those horrible destruction scenes of a fallen country he captured in his work. He began to think in this unusual way when his pen has dried as he expressed , no one was listening and no one cared for the Iraqi dignity.
  • When he knew about Bush's press conference , he planned for what he had done , in fact he picked up the same pair of shoes he wore in covering several massacres across his country. Muntader did not tell anyone what he is going to do but he hinted to his brother that he may not return again and that something bad is going to happen to him.
  • Muntader wonders why some people did not approve what he had done and approved the murder of one million Iraqi , the rape of an Iraqi girl and the murder of her family not to mention the destruction of a 7000 years old nation.
  • It was more of a moral victory to the Iraqi people.
  • He prayed before throwing his shoes.
  • He forgave the Iraqi journalists who pulled him back after throwing the first shoe.
  • He intended to scream to expose Maliki and his men whom started to hit him in the hall where as Bush's security told not to do.
  • They took him outside the hall to start his torture ball which I wonder till when it lasted.
  • Maliki men are the Zionists of Iraq as he described them.
  • They wanted to know whether he was a Sunni or a Shiite , Muntader is a Shiite but he did not believe in these sectarian difference as he considered himself a Muslim in the first place. At first he did not tell them his name which could indicate his religious believes , he told them he was from Nassirya district which is a mixed sectarian district and thus they could not know whether he is a Shiite or a Sunni.
  • When he could not take any more of their torture , he told them that his name is Muntader El-Mahadi ,just his name was enough to indicate he is a Shiite from the Ja'fari sect. The Iraqi torturers and interrogators kept insulting the sect and his family of course.
  • The Americans came and ordered the Maliki men to stop their torture ball and they obeyed the order. The American also took a sample of Muntader's blood to know what he was on !!??
  • One of the Maliki Staff Samir Haddad was supervising the interrogation and torture of Muntader.
  • The Iraqi torturers wanted to know who was behind him despite he kept swearing to them that he did it on his own for Iraq, in fact they told him that they would stop if he confessed that a specific militant group was behind him, Muntader refused to say its name for fear of problems , I expected it to be Al-Sadr militias.
  • Samir Haddad and his men were insisting that he was lying and some party , some country was behind ,they took his passport and kept asking based on his regional visits and travels : Was it the Syrian intelligence ?? Was it the Iranian intelligence ??Was it Hezbollah ?? Was it the Egyptian intelligence !!?? "Can you believe those guys !!??"
I do not know why it was hard for those torturers to understand the motives of Muntader where as all the world understood them and respected him , may be because if they did ,they would recognize the Iraqi blood on their hands.
Insh Allah I will post the rest of the interview as soon as I put my hands on it.
