Meet Marwa El-Sherbani's Brother

Meet Marwa El-Sherbani’s brother : Magdy Kamal Kalada , a 19 years half Egyptian-half Iraqi boy who has been killed by two skinheads in the city of  Leipzig yesterday.
Late Magdy
According to Egyptians who spoke to Youm 7 , the 19 years old boy was returning to his home with two of his friends when he was attacked by two Neo-Nazi skinheads who stabbed him 9 times in his stomach.Magdy was transferred to the hospital but it was late. The German police arrested those Neo-Nazis and the funeral of Kalada will be held next Monday.
It seems that those two bastards were angered by Magdy’s eastern look. I remember that the Marwa was killed by a Russian skinhead too. That growing mix of xenophobia and Islamophobia is giving Neo-Nazis a life team opportunity to return back to Europe as far as I could tell.
Why would a 19 years old kid get killed in this horrible way ?
Marwa then Magdy, who will be next !!??
May Allah bless the soul of Magdy and bring patience and solace to this parents and beloved ones.

No it is high aggression of immigrants what has led to this as for example ZDF shown recently, no wonder Merkel declared that multiculturalism had failed.

Our sincere condolences to the family who have endured such overwhelming hardship.

Both murders were horrible crimes and I hope that justice will take its course.

German courts have been known in the past to be lenient with criminals on 'procedural' loopholes.
An example is the case of German citizen Gunther Parche who stabbed former world 1 tennis player Monica Seles (of Yugoslavia at that time) in the back during a changeover during an officiated match in Hamburg.
Mr Parche's objectives were to injure the Yugoslav player so his compatriot Steffi Graf could reclaim the number one ranking.
Based on a plea of insanity and the procedural condition of the plaintiff being summoned to court - she refused - Gunther Parche was let off and did not spend one night in jail.
Let's hope that this time justice is served.

When one complains of xenophobia and racism against one's sub-group - one must also have the courage to confront the same wrongs in one's own society.

The notoriety of Egyptian racism towards blacks, black Africa and the Sudanese is not just confined to the media - which far too many educated Egyptians who should know better are apologists for - but it is also manifested physically as the following three videos show.

And the incident at Mustafa Mahmoud Square where the Sudanese refugees were referred to as diseased beasts will never be forgotten - it is annually commemorated in Juba...

And...we are still awaiting mention of the Sudanese civil society activists from Halayeb, two of whom have perished whilst under torture...

  6. Heartfelt condolences to the family and may Allah Almighty guide them to find a way to deal with another tragedy.

    @Sudanese Observer
you should not hijack this tragic topic for your very own elusive claims about Egyptians being racist. This is just infamous as is your perversion of the story about the attacker of Seles.

In fact, that guy was sentenced to 2 years in jail. He got probation because the injury was just superficial and he was diagnosed with personality disorder.

Sudan is ruled by a wanted criminal. It is a failed state. Not even the preposterous announced referendum can be carried out in that country of mass murder and ethnic cleansing.

As for the murder: I really would like to understand why Magdy was still staying in Germany after his mother was stabbed to death. And what was his dealing with skinheads anyway?

  7. @Little Pharaoh , Magdy is not the son of late Marwa

The problem exists, whether you have the courage to face up to it and admit it - or not...

Yes unfortunately Sudan is ruled by a man who is indicted by the ICC - he is also very wishy-washy about reflecting public opinion and taking a stance vis-a-vis the 1959 Agreement.

Rest assured, when the current President no longer holds that office - the President of the North will join the South in signing up to the Nile Basin Cooperative Framework Agreement.

As for your description of the referendum as being 'preposterous' - no wonder the Southern Sudanese have such little goodwill towards you if you are so dismissive of their political demands.

The referendum 'will' take place on time - because your friends the Americans - who sustain your economy with their billion dollar economic aid - said so - and this is the consensus of the political groupings of the North, and South.

    As for the Seles case

    Here's a present - I imagine you'd enjoy this level of discourse:

  10. Read the following academic article with particular reference to:

    * the question of mens rea and diminished capacity

    * the insanity plea and the McNaughten rules

    * German justice and the rehabilitative model of punishment

    * the appeal

That is assuming you do read anything because as far as Sudan goes you're pretty ignorant and you work on 'sound bytes' which are milimetres in depth.

The fact is that there is racism in Egypt against blacks - in the media and on the ground - those defenceless Sudanese refugees were brutalised at Mustafa Mahmoud Square and a vigil in held in their remembrance every year...in Juba.

A journalist wrote about his experience watching the recent match against Al-Taraji in Cairo - he wrote that after the match which was unfavourable to the Egyptians, they told him look what your relative did to us - the relative being the 'Ghanaian' referee - why is he a relative?
Because of the amount of pigment in his skin.
The reporter wrote that he told them to go to the offices in central Cairo and talk to Issa Hayatou who is the President of CAF.
The reporter will watch the next round...in Tunisia.

  13. Racism or prejudice is as old as mankind. The fear of the unknown is a natural reaction. Throughout history people have made borders and strong defenses to keep strangers out. In the effort to keep strangers out people are developing still stronger and more effective weapons. This striving toward safety has started several wars and killed millions of people.
To fight racism we have to get to know each other and learn more about each others cultures. Not only do we have to share each others joys, but also learn that we often have the same problems and worries after all we are made from the same univeral matter.
    The Canadian.

The Canadian is right - we have to get to know each other and to afford each other 'the same' degree of recognition and respect.

Anonymous - we conveyed and our sincere condolences and these stand.

So what do you think of the videos...?

Keep burying your head in the sand and we shall keep championing our legitimate causes that so many of you on here refuse to recognise or acknowledge.

Egypt is not just looking for Water!
