I found out that I didn't speak about the 7 Lebanese demands , the Lebanese government request as conditions for any resolution concerning Ceasing fire in Lebanon . All The Seniora government approved the 7 conditions including Hezbollah's ministers in the Cabinet . Nabih Barry , the head of the Parliament and official delegate of Hezbollah in official approved , so there is a consent approval on it
This draft or these demands were discussed in Rome from couple of weeks and no other country except Lebanon stood beside it , despite the Egyptian claims of "We are with you guys" statements
The 7 conditions or points or demands are :
- The Exchange of the Lebanese P.O.W with the two Israeli soldiers under the supervision of the international Red cross
- The withdrawal of IDF to what beyond the blue line "That is the Borders" and the return of the Evacuees to their villages
- The UN supervision over both Shabaa farms and hills of Kafr shoba and the confession of their Lebanese identity, in that period , the old owners of the lands must take back their proprieties ,also Israel is obligated to give Lebanon the maps of the land mines there
- The sovereignty of the Lebanese government on all the Lebanese territories with its army according to El-Ataf agreement
- Enforcing the Unifal powers in south of Lebanon to secure the return of the evacuees
- To work again with the truce of 1949 between Lebanon and Israel
- The international community must take its responsibility in the re-construction of Lebanon
As you see these demands are reasonable ,Lebanese are not asking alot, in fact these are the least they can even ask for ,simple respect for the Lebanese State and its dignity .Ironically they don't ask for War despite the fact militarily they are the victorious till now with their Resistance but instead they are asking for modest peace and no one in the world wants to give it to them . Because Israel despite the fact in these conditions Hezbollah will be disarmed and the Lebanese army will take control,I don't know but is n't this what Israel wants??
i'm sorry, but you must be insane.
ReplyDeleterelease the p.o.ws? what, samir kuntar the cold blooded murderer? by common arab country laws we should have executed him and his 22 pals for what they did, but we're too humane for that. they are not p.o.ws - they are war criminals serving a rightful sentence.
winning this war? have you no eyes? lebanon is getting powder thin because of what you call winning.
stop this nonesense and would be bravado, wake up, ask your govenment s to dismantle the hezbollah before this insanity on both sides grows further.
Excuse but what did Samr Kuntar do ?? as far as I know he was resistaning the occupation forces ,invading his country and unfortunately this occupation forces are your IDF
ReplyDeleteIf they are war criminals then what your IDF commanders who target the civilians from women and children will be ??
And yes Lebanon is winning the war , your IDF, IAF ,Mossad what ever from short military name organization got did n't make this tiny peaceful ,really peaceful country go down on its knees and inshAllah it won't go down on its knees for the unity of its people and its resistance
and yes I am insane
@zeinobia, sorry, i cannot excuse your ignorance.
ReplyDeletein 1979, samir kutar entered an apartment in naharya, israel. he killed three of haran family members. he kidnapped the father and his 4 years old girl and took them down to the beach. when sorrounded by the police he shot the father in front of the girl and crashed her skull with his rifle butt.
resisting occupation? by a four year old girl?
idf does not target civilians on purpose, unlike the terrorist group you're so out to defend. if civilians are hit it is because they did not head the warnings, they are harbouring terrorists, and/or the terrorists are hiding behind them. anything else are mistakes we decry.
peaceful? lebanon? i wish. peaceful is not just 'not doing anything' - peaceful is also making sure nothing is happening within your borders.
inshallah lebanon will rise again from the ashes to be a truely peaceful country, with which we can have good neighborly relations, and prosper together.
