The Pirates of Somalia

The pirates of Somalia managed to make the 3025 KM coastline of Somalia as one of the most dangerous places in the world.They managed for the first time to stand against big countries like France,Russia and the United States and get away from this confrontation with the least losses. They are organized by tribal and clan connections and are led by bunch of war lords,businessmen and even some local authorities. They are led from headquarters ashore.Believe it or not in the lawless country those pirates are like heroes.The dream of any girl in Somalia is to marry those pirates regardless of the moral implications. It is ironic and pathetic how pirates from a country like Somalia control the red sea like this.
Anyhow the Egyptian Navy declared from couple of weeks that it had the biggest training operation in its modern history. Of course this is something we Egyptians should be proud of and feel safe that our troops in its different branches are still there awake. Israel does not like this and even suggested a stupid suggestion , a mad one actually to have joint training operation !!!
I do not need to say that Mubarak will sign a revolution/ coup statement if he listen to this mad suggestion and surely he won’t because he knows the consequences of matter on the people and before them the army !!?
Anyhow I am proud of my navy and wish them all luck but I was wondering why there is not a real operation against the Pirates of Somalia who will affect our income from the Suez Canal and abduct our commercial ships in the Red Sea !!??
I am speaking seriously the Egyptian Navy can do it even without the help of anyone , after all there are bunch of pirates in the end. Yes it is their water and area but we can cooperate with the Yemeni and the Somali authorities without any Russian or American or European help. The Europeans are moving to get the Pirates of Somalia , thanks to their help but we can do it by ourselves if we want too. I do not want any Europeans or Americans in that area.
In 1973 our Navy did not give a damn for the international laws and all that jazz and closed the Bab El-Mandeb strait with the help of the Yemeni authorities so why we can’t do it again and kick those Pirates butts with the help of the Yemeni authorities along with our allies in Somalia.
It will be an excellent training for our men whom I believe they can do great regardless of what is said. It will be a great to our people because they need to know that they still got an army ready to protect them.
Of course I seem here a dreamy girl living in the la la land ,but it is not bad thing to dream from time to time.
