President Mubarak was really shocked and astonished when he knew that cancer is spreading with all its kinds in Egypt to the level that asked the minister of health “ Why is a rise in cancer infection rate in Egypt !!??
He asked this question during his visit to Upper Egypt where he ordered the treatment of a sick young boy in London on the state’s expense, the boy is suffering from a rare type of tumor and wants an immediate surgery.
It seems that nobody told him that thousands die annually in Egypt because of cancer and other thousands can’t afford its expensive treatment , it seems that his wife the first lady did not inform about hospital 5757 and that the hospital needs more and more donations. It seems that nobody told him that his deputy in the NDP is among the reasons of this increasing fearful rates ; Dr. Youssef Wali our former minister of agriculture for decades who imported tons and tons of carcinogenic fertilizers and pesticides not to mention the imported carcinogenic wheat .
I wonder if the President knows that we got HCV too !!
P.S I read a strange statement for the minister of health Hatem El-Gabli that 90% of the tumors patients are being treated for free in Egypt !!!!
How Ironic...
ReplyDeleteand whom is he trying to fool here?
I just have a little objection:cancer is not an infection, the word infection applies only to microbial disorders.
ReplyDelete@Intuition ,
ReplyDeletehe is fooling himself dear , fooling himself
@Akher Ayam Alkharif,
thanks for the correction what is the correct medical to use with Cancer ??
In homage to our Egyptian heritage I can only say "Wallahwi" el ragel fe3aln mesh henna 7'ales. Isnt it a top priority for any president of any country to know which ailments are wide spread in his country? Isnt this essential for security reasons? Isnt this essential to estimate how much money should be allocated to treating such ailments etc in the gov's budget? Is this man reading any reports at all? Or is he loosing his memory?
ReplyDeleteHe should know he bears the burden of the results of what Walli did, he protected him for a long time and until now still protecting him.
@Zeinobia, In many instances cancer can be caused by infection like cervical cancer which might be due to HPV and liver cancer caused by HCV.
ReplyDeleteThe correct term used with cancer is morbidity "cancer morbidity rate" or mortality "cancer mortality rate". Also some scientists use the terms "incidence" and "prevalence" to show the number of new cancer cases and existing cancer cases in the population respectively.
Someone should tell him about the air pollution as well, I'm afraid.
ReplyDeleteYou can just say cancer rates, or incidences. For example: Incidences of (lung) cancer have risen dramatically in Cairo since 200X, due to rampant cigarette addiction, second-hand smoke, trash burning, rice-chaff burning, out of control car and truck emissions, and other factors.
For instance.
lest i remind you that our cancer clusters are not rooted in air pollution or chemically treated foods, but in ANWAR SADAT'S ignorant exchange of foreign NUCLEAR waste in return for CASH! buried not far from MARINA and OCTOBER is american nuclear waste that no one wanted to accept in the late 70's but sadat embraced it with open arms.
ReplyDeleteYou can say cancer cases, cancer patients.infection is only correlated with microbial growth.
ReplyDeleteBy the way 57357 have much much more money than what you can ever imagine...much money to the extent of abuse,I do not want to say madness. The place which really needs donations since it lost all the support it previously used to have before this 57357 deafening propaganda started is the National Cancer Institute in Kasr-eleiny.It is a huge governmental hospital which serves both children and adults ,and nevertheless they cannot secure sufficient fund for cotton and bandages...!!!!
@ Akher Ayam Al Kharif: you are right,I know from a doctor friend there that they have shortage in several supplies and sometimes they even collet money among each other or from friends and family to provide supplies sad really.
