Prime minister Ahmed Nazif reportedly has tied the knot this weekend marrying his fiancee Zeinab Zaki secretly away from the media.
10 PM show yesterday aired the news with shots to the bride's house decorated with white flowers and ribbons. There are no further details in the media though today. The cabinet has not issued a statement about the merry event either; the people should know that their prime minister is on a vacation for his honeymoon. " I swear I am not being sarcastic here"
Anyhow I think Nazif decided to wed for the second time quietly because he wanted the controversy his engagement's announcement caused. " You will not believe how he is being mocked up till now because of it in all over Egypt"
Well he better do something about the gas supplies problem before he starts his honeymoon
ReplyDeleteAs a true "Egyptian girl" you would know that there's a certain event we call Katb-ElKetab, which in a lot of cases of Egyptian society is equivalent to a formal engagement.
ReplyDeleteAnyways judging by the newspapers I'd say he's not on his honeymoon, otherwise it'd be one lousy one, sharing it with the Sudanese VP!!
