#July 10 : This is strong reaction

You want to know what is the reaction of the people in Suez and at Tahrir square after PM Essam Sharaf’s speech in the morning !?
  • Hundreds of protesters in Suez joined by the families of martyrs have cut the Qattamiya-Ain El Sokhna highway already. The commerce movement is paralyzed. The army has failed so far to convince the people to reopen it.
Blocking the highway of Qattamiya-Ain El Sokhna
  • The highway according to #bey2ollak service on twitter is also blocked from Cairo’s side thanks to a strike by TMG’s Madinaty employees who are demanding insurance. It has nothing to do with politics or the demands of the protesters at Cairo or Suez or Alexandria.
  • The protesters at Tahrir square , Cairo have closed the entrance of the Tahrir complex “ The famous administrative Mogamma”

  • The employees support the protesters and are not complaining.
Blocking the Mogamma
  • This move is dangerous because the governmental administrative complex serve thousands of citizens and it could make citizens angry and the security forces to act badly because we are speaking here about blocking official institutions.
  • The official national TV is strange , it is like Al Jazeera during the early days of the revolution !! People reportedly are attacking the government and SCAF on air freely !! According to some Major General Tarek Al Mahdy gave his orders to the national TV and radio employees to transfer the image as it is !! I do not know if this is an honest view or an attempt to vent the people’s anger or it is a plan to get rid from Essam Sharaf !!
  • There is a press conference at Tahrir currently. The stage at Hardees is the official stage.
  • Reem Maged of ONTV has joined the protesters. Yesterday Yosri Fouda visited the sit in as well. There are open wireless services now at Tahrir near Hardees and Mogamma.
  • People are calling for a million man protest on Tuesday
  • Today there will be a concert at Tahrir square at 6 PM : Ramy Essam and Eskanderlla
  • This seems a very important day and it can end with very important decisions.
  • There were rumors that Prime minister Sharaf resigned but the cabinet has denied the news. Already the prime minister met a delegation of protesters from Tahrir square to discuss their demands.
  • There is a new that minister of interior Mansour Eissawy will resign objecting on the decision of Sharaf to layoff the officers accused of the killing the protesters.
  • Al Jazeera Mubshar claimed that there will be a ministerial reshuffle soon still from some source denied it.
  • Now Youm 7 claims that SCAF will appoint Lt.General Mohsen El-Fangry as the minister of interior. Some think that this is another test balloon but from what I see many people support such decision and it is not because of the popularity of El Fangry only but because knowing the rivalry between the army and police , this can be the solution to bring down the arrogance of the police force.
  • Speaking about the police force , a group of police officers protested at Abdeen palace objecting the decision of Sharaf !!!!!!!
  • The army has ended the strike at Ain Sokhna highway and stopped the attempt to have a sit in at the Suez canal itself by force. Not less than 25 protesters were arrested , there were injuries.
  • I am totally against any kind of action involves the Suez canal itself , we are speaking about international obligations and true national security for the record and I think any plan to touch the Suez canal is just like standing in front of a mad bull.
  • The protesters of Tahrir are speaking about escalation and honestly from what I see on twitter what they have proposed so far is not escalation but rather stupidity , like for example cutting the metro line tomorrow so millions of Egyptians in Cairo will beat the crap out of them !!
  • There is vague scene in Egypt , true vague scene. I am worried and concerned.
Things are developing indeed.

  1. A military head for the ministry of Interior will be a very stupid move and most probably will make it worse. See how the MP deals with civilians and you will get an idea, this ministry desperately needs a civilian, preferably a judge.

I wouldn't write that, I mean really la keda 3ageb wala keda 3ageb, I praise the national TV and don't like the way we react towards their correspondents in Tahrir even if they didn't change it's their damn right to report whatever they see and people only hav ethe right to boycott them thus punish them as it's already ours !!
