Coronavirus on the Nile: Egypt’s COVID-19 April 2021 numbers in Graph

This is the time of our monthly post about the coronavirus pandemic and its numbers in graphs.

The official numbers of coronavirus cases in Egypt continued officially to Serge steadily in April 2021 following March 2021.

In April 2021 people already were warning that we started to the impact of the coronavirus’ third more vividly unfortunately as the Holy Month of Ramadan Kicked off and people as well as the government despites its restrictions acted as if there is no pandemic.

The restaurants and Ramadan tents, as well as parties, are back under the guise of social distance rules but there is no social distance nor masks rules.

April finished and the numbers are increasing and I hope that the government acts quickly and at least gives the Eid week off so people can stay in their homes for a while.

Last year, we had the peak of the coronavirus’ first wave in the month right Ramadan.

Disclaimer: According to Minister of Health Hala Zayed in early January, the official numbers of cases represent between 10%-15% of the real number of cases worldwide Egypt included.

It is enough to know that the Ministry of Health delivered 4,000 of its coronavirus medication bags to the in-house isolation cases in Suhag governorate this month only to know that the numbers are greater in the real world.

Now to the graphs of April numbers.

First, the daily cases of coronavirus in Egypt.

As you can see there was a steady increase in the numbers.

Moving to the fatalities numbers.

The official number of fatalities increased but not as in reality.

It was a depressing time when you go on social media especially Facebook to see obituaries nearly every day.

Moving to the fully recovered patients, which is the good news in this pandemic.

Just stay safe and register yourself to get vaccinated if you are in Egypt as soon as possible inshallah.
