Here we are on the 27th night of our Radio Arabian Nights this year.
We will continue our tale for this year, the tale of King Mahorab
First of all, You can refresh your mind with what happened last night here.
It is the 27th episode in our tale and the 549th night of our Egyptian Radio show.
You can listen to the episode after the break. “P.s, there is a bit of a problem in the recording in a small part but the rest of the old recording is fine”
Yakut continues his tale in Mahan’s Kingdom.
He tells his father and the rest of the Royal court in Serendib that on the day he was going to leave to meet his brother, he found out that he was summoned to meet King Mahan.
Mahan who has only one child tells Yakut that he decided to appoint him as the upcoming King of the Kingdom due to his strength, courage and wisdom.
He told his son-in-law to go and to meet with his family and then to return back to work as soon as possible.
Yakut tells his father it is a great decision because now the two kingdoms can be united to stand against the Khagan.
This is what happened to Yakut, now it is the turn of Firoz.
Firoz takes the remorse road and it leads him to a Kingdom where he finds people are gathering around a man who is being questioned by an amazingly beautiful young lady.
When the man fails to answer the questions of the lady, he is beaten.
Firoz stays in a Khan “an inn” and asks his owner about the scene he saw earlier. The owner tells him that this is the wise Princess Budur, the daughter of King Al-Ghuyur who asks her suitors three riddles and if they fail, well he saw what happens to them.
FYI, King Al-Ghuyur is the cousin of King Mahorab who is also not on good terms with him due to their parents’ fights
The next day, Firoz heads to King Al-Ghuyur and says he is ready for the challenge. The King laughs at him but he does not stop, he insists to take the challenge.
Princess Budur comes and asks him three riddles and he answers them all successfully impressing Budur and King Al-Ghuyur.
King Al-Ghuyur announces that he will fulfil his promise and he will give him his daughter’s hand in marriage.
Tomorrow night inshallah, we will know what will happen with Firoz and his youngest missing brother.
