Ramadan Arabian Nights 2021 : Tale of King Mahorab “The King of the Ghouls” Ep.29

Here we are on the 29th night of our Radio Arabian Nights this year.
We will continue our tale for this year, the tale of King Mahorab
First of all, You can refresh your mind with what happened last night here.

It is the 29th episode in our tale and the 551st night of our Egyptian Radio show.

Prince Zumarad rides behind this knight who orders his horse to go as fast it can in the dark night to avoid those ghouls.

When the morning comes, this anonymous knight stops and tells him to get off the horse and to wait for him and then he disappears.

For six days and six nights, Zumarad continues to meet with these strangers who suddenly appear at night warning him of the ghouls and tell him to run for his life and then disappear when the morning comes.

Then on the seventh night, he meets up with an old lady head-carrying a pot of water and that he believes that he follows her, she can lead him to her village and other humans.

Again, the old woman thinks he is a Ghoul but he swears that he is not and he recounts what happens to him since his arrival to the land of the Ghouls.

She tells him that all those people he met were actually Ghouls and that it was not for the Dawn, he would have been eaten by them.

Then again, she orders him to run as quickly as he can to avoid been caught by the Ghouls all night long.

In the end, they reach a town by dawn but at this moment suddenly the old woman begins to shapeshift getting bigger, scarier and her eyes turn red.

“Either you become my servant or my master,” She says commands him to continue running while Zumarad runs cluelessly scared.

“For seven nights you escape from us” She yells ask for the help of the other ghouls.

The other ghouls come and grab Zumarad to eat him quickly but the Sunrises and suddenly they leave him.

In a spilt of a second, the ghouls pay their respect to the human politely.

Zumarad is now the King of Ghouls.

“You survive for seven days and nights,” One ghoul says commanding the other Ghouls to carry our man to Prince Mimon of Ghouls.

Prince Mimon explains to the new King what happened.

It is their rule to eat humans who enter their valley but if a human manages to survive seven nights and days entering their forbidden zone then he becomes their king.

“It has been a while since this has happened before,” Mimon says adding that Zumarad was not eaten because he was first to be caught and brought in front of the king to be eaten in front of a big bonfire.

Zumarad as a King tells him that he wants to leave them.

“I would rather be a beggar and not a sultan of the Ghouls,” He tells frankly.

But Mimon shocks him.

“It is not up to you,” He tells Zumarad referring to both a big mountain and a vast desert surrounding the valley of the Ghouls making it hard for anyone to leave.

“No human or Djinn has ever climbed the mountain of Smoke” Mimon adds.

Whether he likes it or not, Zumarad becomes the King of Ghouls.

After a year, Zumarad orders to have a horse and he rides it.

He tries to speed up but suddenly something or someone appears.

Tomorrow inshallah we will know how he really made it in our finale for this season inshallah.
