Egypt-Iran

Ok this is turning to a silly thing like that silly old game "Egypt - Syria"
The Egyptian regime used it as a means to launch an attack against Iran and its regime. It was a golden opportunity.
The Iranian regime does not want to say that it was a mistake and pretends to be a democratic Free of expression lover country despite the fact the producers of the documentary are from the conservatives.
Now Some are saying that Egypt is going to produce a film attacking Khomeini called "Khomeini, the Emam of blood", the name of the khomeini director that was circulating was Mohammed Fadal, to tell you the truth I doubt that Fadal would direct this film because he is a hardcore Nasserite who hates Sadat more than those Iranians.
I do not like Khomeini and when I was child I used to fear his images in the Newspapers and in the TV. I do not approve on his ideologies but I respect the fact that he is a holy man in the eyes of his people and thus we are not attacking a political symbol or an icon like President Sadat but also a religious figure regardless the fact we do not believe in him yet we should be very careful when dealing with him .

In my opinion , a counter documentary that defends President Sadat and shows his views to the Iranian people in Farsi is much better idea than this - our man is better than your man – documentary.

The escalation did not stop ,already it reached to the sports , the same sports that unite what was separated by politics , the Egyptian National football team cancelled a friendly match with the Iranian football team as an objection on the insult to president Sadat in that documentary. I respect what the national team did but it would be much better if the national team goes to Tehran and kick the butts of the Iranians and in the end they say that they dedicate their victory to the late President spirit ;)

Of course the Iranians issued a complain against us to the FIFA accusing us of mixing politics with sports. It is the first time something like this happens to us in the FIFA ,already I believe that there is a whole sector in the FIFA made for Egypt’s endless football problems !!?

It did not stop here ,the Iranians just get started , the production company that produced the documentary decided to produce a new sequel to it , I think it is silly I mean what sequel after the death of the President !!?

This is just the beginning. That production company in Tehran decided to raise the bar too high by building a mausoleum for Khaled Al Islamboly . This is too much ,seriously too much but any how those radicals in Tehran built a mausoleum for the Murderer of Khalifah Omar whom I recall was not a Muslim at all !!??

The justification is silly from the Iranian part , it is not about the Peace agreement it turns out that they are mad that we hosted the Shah from more than 20 years ago !!?? Not that only , it is because we are keeping the remains and did not return back to Tehran !!

Those Iranians do not understand that Egypt acted as she should be ,the Shah helped us in 1973 correcting that terrible mistake he had made in 1967. I see it as an irony that the only country that would stand for the Shah was the same country he was against for about 3 decades . Believe me I understand that the Shah was real bastard but he paid heavily like no other that he became an example in history ,still I do not think that we are insulting the Iranian people because death has its own respect. We are people who respect death so much.

Both countries should stop acting silly , it is not for the best interest of everyone.

Seriously we should all grow up .

Anyhow blast from the past , photos of the Shah funeral in Egypt and a part from the funeral film , already I saw it without Persian translation and saw how the people ,the Egyptian people paid respect to the dead as they always do not for the eyes of Sadat but because it is in our traditions

Created with Admarket's flickrSLiDR.

BY the way I have one silly question in the funeral of the Shah, the elder daughter of the Shah was not there , where was she ??

Shahinaz is the daughter of Empress Fawzia

Another tragedy on the Marsa Matrouh highway

It is doomed highway , seriously as if there were some curse in this road. The third car accident happens in the fifth day from the terrible train crash the the bus crash .It is another bus crash. Again the number of dead is horrifying , 41 Persons were killed.

It is terrible ,Al-Dostor today published a terrible photo for the corpses of two little girls on the highway on the front page, they were so small . Oh God

I know how long and tiring is the highway to Matrouh ,but it was not that bad in the past. I do not know what happened to the people. May be the terrible driving , may be it became populated. I do not know

This blood river should stop

He turned to be Egyptian

Do you remember that Gimto. shocking interrogating video I posted here from couple of days ??
It turned out that Omar Khadder ,the young teenager then who was asking for his mother and for help is an Egyptian , yes Omar Khadder is from an Egyptian origin !!
I thought that he was Syrian but I was wrong , he turned to be an Egyptian.
Why do not we speak about it ?? Yes he got two citizenship; the Egyptian and the Canadian ,but it is our duty to stand beside him. Already according to the new Child Law he was arrested while childhood .
You know after further thought , I think he is lucky enough to have the Canadian passport at least he found some stands beside him

Jihad El-Khazen’s thought of the day about El-Kuntar

Jihad El-Khazen ,the famous Lebanese writer shares with the world his thoughts about Samir El-Kuntar and the buzz he made.

It is worth to be read and shared : Khazen&Co.: Thought of the Day

Blood on sand

Egypt’s latest train crash death toll rose form 44 to 58 with people capt_cps_nal08_180708161651_photo00_photo_default-512x288 who are dying daily in the hospitals. Tragically in the same place at Marsa Matrouh any bus crash happened and 35 persons died because of it !!

Terrible stories began to find its way to the newspapers , parents who can’t find their children and families who were celebrating the GSC but could not enjoy the joy for too long. The Obituary pages in Al Ahram full of names of those who died in that terrible accident.

The tragedy is not only in the crash but also the fact the injured were not saved and did not receive the required medical care in the sole hospital there ; the Matrouh general hospital , the same hospital the minister of health Hatem Gabali described as a hospital for inhuman use !!??

It is a tragedy. photo

The car accidents in Egypt are killing more people than any other way.

According to Zechariah Azami ,the NDP MP and the head of the President’s office 73,000 Egyptians were killed in road accidents last year in 2007.

Can you imagine the number ?? Monthly or on a daily basis some must got killed on the road.

This is time it is not only the Government responsibility’s ,it is the people responsibility to drive and they know that there are others’ driving just like them in the road. It is the people’s responsibility to respect the law for their safety regardless of those who break it . It is the responsibility of the people like the lorry drivers to stop taking drugs while hitting the road.

Of course again I will say that the government has good share , where is the good planning for traffic ??

There is something called Traffic engineering we do not have it in Egypt despite what is said because if we do ,our traffic we would not be like this.

Where are the 24/7 hospitals on these highways ?? in fact the 1_1_49 Matrouh general hospital is the only hospital in Matrouh !! That means the hospital is not ready to serve its community .

This blood river on the roads should be stopped ,seriously it is about our future , every day I found young people got killed on the road.

Before we care about our image abroad we must care about our people.

It is so sad.

Our transportation system is just like any other system in this country , it need to be changed .

My heart goes to the families and friends of those who lost their beloved ones in that terrible crash.

Kill them before they kill you

I am not surprised at all , it is something expected from McCain supporters ,already it is not the first time we hear that kind of nonsense against us as Muslims , but the new thing that it comes from a person that not radical Zionist Christian but a Vietnam’s veteran Ex-POW general Bud Day.

The Muslims have said either we kneel or they're going to kill us.

Bud Day was a fellow POW with McCain during their capture in Vietnam.

I do not recall when the Muslims , all the Muslim or even some Muslim have said that we want the Americans to kneel !! We do not anyone to kneel for us !! In fact we do not kneel to any human being and kneeling to human beings is prohibited

You know after some thought it is not strange after all Day was captured because he was killing the Vietnamese before they would kill the Americans in the United States of America !!

From Lebanon ; the other side of the coin

More coverage about the Swap of Prisoners that ended the operation of “Honest Promise”
Yes Operation “Radwan” is the last part from the “Honest Promise” operation in 2006 that gave Israel the excuse to launch its war against Lebanon ; of course I must say that Israel had lost that war.
First of all from Wednesday here are some photos from Farfahinne

Yes the old woman in the beginning of the Slide Show is the Mother of Samir Kuntar 71 years old Siham Kuntar ,the second woman is Fadwa Barghouti, the wife of Marwan Barghouti
I also recommend to read FarFahinne’s post
On Thursday Kuntar replied on the Israeli threats to assassinate him that he was ready for it in his hometown at Mount Lebanon. It was great to see Hezbollah’s representative and minister setting beside Jumbaltt whom the party accused of treason in less than 2 months.

And here is the speech of Kuntar on last Wednesday from Al Jazeera, before the speech Nasrallah made a surprisingly appearance for the first time in public since long time , I guess since the last war.
