Robert Fisk, you must read his latest essay for the British independent ,I like this man
I like this part especially "Who encouraged Saddam to invade Iran in 1980, which was the greatest war crime he has committed for it led to the deaths of a million and a half souls? And who sold him the components for the chemical weapons with which he drenched Iran and the Kurds? We did. No wonder the Americans, who controlled Saddam's weird trial, forbad any mention of this, his most obscene atrocity, in the charges against him. Could he not have been handed over to the Iranians for sentencing for this massive war crime? Of course not. Because that would also expose our culpability."
By the way the Arabic translation is available in Al-Ahram edition of 31/12
Robert Fisk's article reminds us with several other examples of regional dictatorships which are supported by the US. They really do not know that they are just tools made and maniuplated by the US administrations until Washington decides that they are not useful anymore
ReplyDeleteLessons are made..though idiots do not read history
The regional dictators Dr.Yasser think that they got something America needs in the region that the complete control on their people ,yet even this America doesn't need it all the time
ReplyDeletereading history ,I think that they don't like to read it because they don't like the ends of people like them ,dictators always have bad end and that's why they don't want to be reminded with
I think if they were smart ,they would n't be dictators ,it is from their stupidity :)
