Now many people believe that the IAF used our skies to hit Sudan and they actually think and believe that those jets that broke sound barrier earlier today were actually Israeli jets.
I do not know about today’s jets , up till now I am buying the official statement of Egyptian armed forces because there is no reason Israel would provoke our country now in this way not to mention this is an act of war but I know Sunday Times published an info graph about the Israeli attack on Sudan.
Eight IAF F15s sent to Sudan where they evaded the Egyptian radars and their electronic warfare equipment jammed Sudan’s air defences. Of course if you watch what the Sudanese minister of defense Abdel Rahim Hussein and how he justified in last May proudly why the Sudanese air defenses did not stop another IAF attack , you will know how troubled the Sudanese armed forces are !!
What we can do !? The air defenses could not spot the jets because the jets turned off their lights !!
Now 3 Iranian military vessels have reached to Port Sudan. According to information that began to surface in international media from newspapers and websites. The Voice of Russia claims that Mossad knew about the agreement between Sudan and Iran after stealing the suitcase of Palestinian business and Hamas leading figure Mahmoud Al Mabhouh from two years ago. Of course one must ask if this is the case , why Israel had to wait two years and how come Sudan got the technology to manufacture missiles when its minister of defense is retarded and it has not air defenses.
Of course we need an official explanation regarding the matter in Cairo because this is a national security priority.
1. Israel for sure didn't provoke our sky in this mission. If it did, it would have added another obstacle/goal for their mission which is complicated and exhausting/long enough and this is not good planning. Good planning is to make the mission as simple as possible. They may have provoked our sky in other missions to test our reaction but certainly not in a mission that has another important goal.
ReplyDelete2. I didn't hear the ultrasonic jets, but I live close to where a recent air maneuver was done and they were flying almost every other day. I believe these are tests done by the new command to know the state of our armed forces. It's a regular thing to be done where there is a new command in any unit in the armed forces and with the last big changes, I believe it's normal.
The Sudanese Air Force flexes it's muscles on helpless people and villages in Southern Sudan, but when it comes to the IDF they fret, threat, jump up and down and at the end shut up!
ReplyDeleteIsrael used their Eritrean air base to attack another sovereign nation and it needs action from the UN!
ReplyDeleteYou keep letting them get away with these atrocities and making rubbish up like they are flying over Egypt and when the day comes when they DO attack Egypt no one will listen. It's time to shout loudly about the zionist pirates and zionist killers from the sky who drop white phosphorus on childrens bodies! Israel is an out of control rogue state! No question about it!
The UN should first do something about Syria... 30000 dead so far...
DeleteSudan has no air defence system! it used to but not anymore! but if what the SundayTime says true then Egypt air defence system is a joke! not only Egypt but also KSA. Radars should be able to pick up these jets unless they were jammed or the Egypt government have been notified by the Israelis. I am going with the Jammed Theory.

ReplyDeleteWhen you are submitted to jamming, you know , and this should have waked-up everyone in Cairo command center.. Nooooo , I am not with this scenario..
ReplyDeleteIn their famous operation in Entebi - 3 decades ago - the Israeilis used the Jordanian air space & then Saudi before going through the Red Sea... Remember that Jordan air defense is weak & The Saudi is totally runned & depended on the US.. and that the target should be to avoid getting closer to the Red Sea west coast with several old russian radar stations still working perfectly ( believe it or not )..
Still the eminent question, what actually were they making in Yarmouk to force the Israeilis to take such risk??
One expert told me that it is impossible to achieve an accurate hit in a residential area without an On-ground assisstance ...!!!
Too bad that there is no reaction yet from the Mahdist movement ( the long lasting Israeili ally in Sudan)...
The direct route from Israel to Sudan is over the Mediterranean sea.
ReplyDeleteIf you help Hamas attack Israeli civilians with rockets, then this is what you are going to get. Too bad they didn't eliminate the criminal al-Bashir and all his gang of thieves and murderers and set Sudan free.
ReplyDeleteYes the Minister of Defence is a retard.
ReplyDeleteHe is reviled by anyone who is competent but he is the close friend and confidante of the President which makes him immune to any accountability.
The Mahdist movement is a long time ally of Israel?
Ironic coming from someone whose country is a beneficiary of strategic and economic, not to name diplomatic ties with Israel.
Besides, the fact that your revolution changed nothing in this regard, or in Sudan relations for that matter should give you good to cause to bite your tongue and save face.
As for our revolution, we all know what it did in Sudan.
Does it still sting over a Century later?
Dear Mahdist ,
DeleteLong time no hear...Communications are getting slower in Qatar these days !!!
Egypt signed a peace treaty with Israel in 1979 , The whole world knows it and the relations are over the table ... Dear , what matters is having more than half a century of clandestine relations & getting paid for that ....Another question might pop out , whether you are entitled as a fraction to make relations with a foreign party against the general policy of you own country ....!!!!
When Israelis bomb targets in residential areas in Gaza, it is done with an On-ground guidance, experts claim the same in this case.
By the way, where is Abdel Rahman Al-Mahdi , he is a top aid to the president ...Why didn't we hear anything yet from Umma party !!!!
Deepest regards to you & to my Sudanese brothers & sisters...
Qatar?
DeleteThe general policy of my country.
Which policy?
The policy that supported Egypt during Camp David?
Or the reality that sees Darfur movements having public relations with Israel?
AbdelRahman is still a Presidential advisor, in his personal capacity, not as a member of any party or Sect or group.
Dr Mariam on the other hand, who is an elected member of the executive council of the Umma Party, signed an agreement with the Sudanese Revolutionary Front in Kampala, the objective of the agreement being regime change.
It is clear that when you write anything about my country, you know nothing.
It's embarrassing and nonsensical for any Egyptian to complain about alleged ties a Sudanese Party has with Israel when Israel continues to be Egypt's diplomatic, security and economic partner.
"..It is clear that when you write anything about my country, you know nothing.."...." Qatar?.."...
DeleteIt is not me or any other Egyptian who exposed the long lasting realtion of Al-Mahdi family & Umma party with Israel & the money paid from Israeili secret service , it was revealed by one of the most reputable research centers in Qatar and the region.
Abdel Rahman Al-Mahdi is one in the president's close ring, same as the defense minister..If you are getting on the defense minister & his accountability same should go to Abdel Rahman..
Egypt Camp David & Darfur movements having public relations with Israel ... Finally, you got it the word "PUBLIC" it is just the opposite of clandestine, should add that neither Egypt or Darfuris were paid under table to act accordingly..
Deepest regards to you & my Sudanese brothers & sisters,
Oh, studies by a Palestinian at the Doha Institute.
DeleteIt's funny how they apportion blame for their plight on others whilst wilfully ignoring the hand in glove collusion and acquiescent sale of land by their own people when the names and families and title deeds are all known and present.
Israel might be your enemy.
Don't assume that it is also mine.
AbdelRahman is one of the President's close ring?
Since when?
Has Egypt been paid by Israel (and contingent US economic assistance) to do things?
Do these agreements not still stand, in spite of the revolution in Egypt?
In both cases, yes.
In your post you criticised the Umma Party for allegedly having links with Israel.
If you were from any other country apart from Egypt, this accusation would have made some sense.
The Ansar and Umma Party were a part of Sudan's past, are a part of its present and will definitely be part of its future.
Your time would be better spent trying to figure out how to create positive, long-lasting relations with Sudan and the other Nile Basin States.
While your country is being attacked, you express huge effort to defend the assailant & the idea of having a collaborator among your people who have been paid for half a century!!!!! Are you Sudanese ?!!!
DeleteA Palestinian in Qatar, what does this have to do with a research?!! You could waste your entire life with this Oxford lexique in vain...A tip for you, there are scientific ways for criticizing by analyzing the references otherwise it will be just bubbles in the air..You should bare in mind that neither Al-Mahdy nor the party dared to discuss this issue...
Last but not least, no one asked you to be Israel's enemy, Sudan used to be a united sovereign politically independent state with its orientations in international politics, is it still the case?!!
We forgot to send our condolences to the families of the martyrs,
And you are absolutely right, we should spend more efforts to create more positive relations with Nile Basin countries & North Sudan & South Sudan :(((
My deepest regards to you & my Sudanese brothers & sisters,,
My country.
DeleteYes.
A country you know nothing about.
A country in which you and your country have no entitlements, not even to one drop of water.
The Ansar and Umma Party were a part of Sudan's past, are a part of its present and will definitely be part of its future.
And no, not we, you should spend time trying to figure out how to create positive, long-lasting relations with Sudan and the other Nile Basin States because we don't support the monopolisation of water and benefits, nor do we oppose Ethiopia's dams, nor do we support the 1959 Agreement and all the harm that it caused us to your benefit.
"..And no, not we, you should spend time trying to figure out how to create positive, long-lasting relations with Sudan .."... Which Sudan are you referring to (North or South)? The number of people killed in the past couple of decades in their internal fight exceeded 5 times the number in Sudan fights with its neighbors in the past 5 centuries..!!!
DeleteOur prayers for the border fights between North & South Sudan to end, only with stability a clear assessment could be done for the projects in the Nile basin.
"...A country in which you and your country have no entitlements...", this sense of entitlement is only in your head.
Nevertheless, Egypt & Sudan for a lot of researchers long time ago had a unique relation, I advise you to look for this book “Situation Internationale de L’Egypte et du Sudan – Juridique et Politique- Par Jules Cocheris- 1903” …Yes in 1903, since then even before Sudan’s independence they realized that there is something unique in their relations. It is a French author, not British as most of the researchers who wrote about Egyptian/Sudanese relations which makes it more interesting to read.
Sincere gratitude for Zeinobia for allowing us to express our opinions in her blog,
Deepest regards to all,
Which Sudan?
DeleteWith regards to good hydropolitical relations with Nile Basin States, recognition of their rights in the Nile, support for Ethiopia's dams and popular rejection of the 1959 Agreement - both.
Books like the one you've mentioned might be useful for you in justifying historical ties to / with / entitlements towards Sudan.
However, any Sudanese knows that the whole period from the invasion and occupation by Muhammad Ali until independence in 1955, apart from the liberation of the Mahdiyya counts for nothing.
In 100 years time a similar book will be written about Iraq under Paul Bremmer.
Dear Sudanese Mahdist /Optimist,
DeleteWow , it took you less than 24 hours to read the French book & digest it.. I admit that I underestimated you …!!!
For the slow readers like me, starting from the page 280, it is just the opposite from your claims of this “Entitlement” sense: Egypt was seeking to get out of Sudan before the beginning of the 20th century!!The British according to official reference letters in the book were striving to keep the Egyptians the maximum time possible there. I have also to admit that personally I thought that it was 1952 revolution & Nasser regime who let the Sudanese gain their independence. Another thing not for you -of course-but for the slow readers like me, this isn’t a Paul Bremmer book about Iraq, it is originally a PHD thesis for doctorat in Paris university in 1903. Hope you know what Paris University was at that time.
“..However, any Sudanese knows that the whole period from the invasion and occupation by Muhammad Ali until independence in 1955, apart from the liberation of the Mahdiyya counts for nothing…”
You are right and thank God that the period from 1955 till now counted for more ….!!!
I have to let you go & stop loosing your precious time,
Have a nice day,
The route taken by the Israeli jets bisected the Red Sea in order to avoid detection by both Egyptian and Saudi radar systems.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's true as suggested that the IDF notified Egyptian army and air defense. The government may indeed have been made aware.
