First of all, You can refresh your mind with what happened last night here.

It is the 25th episode in our tale and the 547th night of our Egyptian Radio show.

You can listen to the episode after the break.

After one year from leaving the Kingdom, King Mahorab waits for his sons in Serendib.

Only two return for now: Prince Yakut and Prince Firoz.

Prince Yakut tells his father he is back with a throne and marriage.

He recounts to the court what happens to him.

After taking the Safety road, he lands in a kingdom on a Monday and he finds people are gathering watching a procession.

That procession is for Princess Naderhan, the very beautiful and smart daughter of the Sultan who goes to her own Sorrow castle on that day.

Naderhan and Yakut’s eyes meet and they fell in love but it won’t be an easy task to ask her hand because she caused the death of many young men too.

It turns out that whoever wants to marry her, he must get to her castle with that single staircase and on the top of it that lion made of copper holding a sword.

No man passes the lion.

Our smart Yakut climbs a big tree to watch to have a closer look and he sees a young man trying his luck but ends up dead.

As all people go and grab the dead body of that unfortunate young man, Yakut sees a maiden comes out of the castle and carefully walk on the staircase in specific order taking one step and leaving the other.

She returns back and walks on the staircase in a specific order, one step then leaving the other then two steps in one time till she passes the lion safely and goes into the castle.

As the people leave, Yakut goes down from the tree and decides to try this luck.

Tomorrow night inshallah we will know if he makes it and passes the copper lion and its lethal sword safely or not.
